SKY Italia denies the rumors about Vidal. SKY Italia: There's nothing new to report, Man Utd have still not made a bid for Vidal.
:lol2:
I find this whole Vidal saga absolutely hilarious so far. it was a bit annoying at the beginning. Every friggin' day some new rumor popping up, but typical click baites for the gulible ones and nothing will come out of it, of course. Media are making complete ass out of themselves and it's been very amusing to follow occasionaly; Chilean media, his alleged friends to whom he confided of leaving, ex-coaches, LvG's or was it Wenger's buddy who also was twitting about it, then GdS, traditionally anti-Juve sports paper that are always looking to add little fuel to the fire, and the pinnacle was Vidal taking medical in United's secret base in Chile, etc... I really cannot stop laughing whenever I see some rumors regarding Vidal and United. Muppetry at best. Then I log in this place and the same few start blasting mgmt for Vidal's sale.

I read that Buffon is renewing one more year until 2016 and that when he retires will be offered coaching. Other contracts ending in 2016 are the ones of Evra, Pirlo, Tevez and Allegri, I don't think Barzagli will be a starter in 2 years. Definitely 2016 will be the critical season to define how the new Juve will play (formation, tactics, players).

No, next year is critical already. It would be quit risky business to keep on counting on Pirlo and Barzagli without bringing replacements in. Even if they both play a great season now.

This year isn't any easier at all. Pirlo isn't younger, Barzagli injured we don't know if he gets back to himself. So far we didn't get a single winger/am and it was the most important thing to get someone. Conte wanted to go away from 352 it seems as he didn't see any room for improvement anymore yet Allegri wants to continue with it despite not playing it earlier in his career. Roma has made good signings and they're hungry for success while our team might not be excited with Serie A anymore especially with Allegri as motivator this time round.

Changing the coach is also a big risk. Roma and Napoli continue with the same coaches. If we don't win anything this year we might be forced to sell both Vidal and Pogba next year.

We did sign 2 wingers, still time for a third and we recuperated Pepe. @LiquidPLP and Allegri has played 4-3-3 in about every friendly up until now... Starting with it, doesn't mean he'll persist with it...

If we qualify for the CL next year we won't have to sell either of them, We cannot expect to win Serie A every year; we all hope for that and it is our main objective along with passing the groups in the CL, but it won't be the end of the world if we fall short this year and the reason for selling Vidal or Pogba. As long as we're competitive side, aiming to challenge for trophies every year, our best players won't feel the need to move elsewhere. Getting further in the CL might be actually better for our worldwide image at this point than another Serie A title.

i think the media knows better. however, these stupid rumors do drive traffic to their website and sell papers
People will stop opening those pages after a while. That's a short term strategy at the expense of credibility, which should be the main asset for any media. It's been a while since I've read any transfer related story apart from occasionally catching the headline and that is mostly for good laughs.

As long as we challenge for a bigger trophy each year. One or two years winning the domestic title in a row is fine, but eventually a player of the caliber we hope to keep is one that will want to continue challenging for bigger and better silverware each year. If not one thing then the other, especially when our league is no longer in the limelight...its imperative we make our mark in Europe as a club to regain / maintain our standing as a household name and to attract / retain the biggest names in the sport. Its honestly as simple as that.

THIS IS JUVE!!!

Well, he went 4231 after 352 most of the time. We are fine as far as wingers go for now, cause if Coman and Berardi have a killer season, we are done in that aspect. No need to buy big when there is big talent knocking on the door.

We do need a centreback and a 5th striker tho

If de sciglio really is out in the shop window I would tap that.
I dont know what insane idiot put him there, but we should make it the highest priority.

Biggest italian fullback talent since zambo(when he was played out of position on leftback and became the best leftback in the world)

The wording

I think I read on GDS that Allegri might be looking to play a 4-3-3 but wants another winger and it also suggested a 3-4-3

If pepe stays fit, I say its worth a shot but then Tevez wouldn't really be playing much.
Tevez will be playing a lot regardless of formation, he has to. In a 433/343 he would likely play an inside forward on the left, with Llorente in the middle and hopefully someone like Lavezzi on the right.

Like Zach says all the time, playing Tevez on the wing is absolutely useless. If Llorente and Tevez aren't going to play in a front two then don't play both.
As an inside forward he is basically another striker (ss), don't get so caught up on the rigidity of formations. Still would get plenty of opportunites in front of goal and has the capabilities on ball to handle a diagonal run at a defender. Not saying this is his ideal position obviously but he could definitely do a good job there and give us another wrinkle.

---------Tevez-----Llorente-----------------Lavezzi
