he is bad, my friend is a Real Madrid fan and he says his hold up play is mediocre, he misses open goals, and has bad ball control. I hope we look elsewhere or just keep ciro...

It's not that I don't think Morata could be useful here; it's more the fact that loaning him would seal our position as a second rate club in Europe.
Madrid loaned Essien last year from chelsea, and before tat adebayor from man city, did that seal their fate as asecond rate club as well?

Morata was fantastic in the Euro U21. His movement open up spaces for the midfielders to score. He is much more mobile than Llorente and has rooms to improve. I agree his hold up play is nothing desirable at the moment.

I read Chelsea is preparing an offer for Lich, because he is on final year of contract. Any one knows his contract status ?

Marotta always look for good deals, and if we can loan a player rather before we buying its better economically. It has nothing to do with being a second rate club.

A second rate club, is where the fans mentality is accepting that we are no longer top dogs in Europe and are content as just champions in Italy and able to get out of the CL group stage. That's a second rate club for you.
