Not necessarily. A player like Angel Di Maria is a winger that doesn't score much but basis his game in assists.

Alves, if given the opportunity can probably do the same.

Now that I look back at this European campaign back in August.

I had CL SF expectations or atleast quarters. I was clearly delusional thinking we could do anything in Europe playing with 3 CB's, having a defensive midfielder and a traditional fullback as your threat from wide areas and relying on a 34 year old regista for creativity.

Really hope we land Sanchez, and Pereyra/Menez.

Abate used to play as right winger during his loan spell at Torino, and Milan decided to bring him back after very good season. Than he was converted into right back, I believe because of huge shortage of players on that position in Milan back then.

I believe Torino's president talked about buying Ciro's half and improving his and Cerci's contract in order to keep them cuz he thought they would get to EL, since that's gone he'll be forced to sell both of them. If we sell Quag and Vuci for 12m both (we sold Matri for 12m) we could buy half of Berardi and Zaza from Sassuolo and exchahge those halfs for Ciro's half. In Torino's case they would get $ for Cerci and a good pair of strikers for Ciro's half.
