Rumors are rumors. Its not like one is more reliable then the other unless it comes from a credible journalist. If you don't like what I post don't read it.
We arent targetting you, dont worry. But its a general thing

The problem is articles like the one chester was laughing about. A scary amount of people believe those things.

Cavani, Suarez and Sanchez. I dont think even Madrid can pull that off in one summer without sales

I understand, but while we might not believe them, we don't really know the truth behind them. There could be some truth behind them or not. The rumors are only going to get worse from this point on.

Can someone say something about Morata? How good is he? Pros and cons..
Standing 6ft 2in tall, Morata is handy in the air and can rely on his strength. His movement and ability to find space is the quality. His hero may have been Raul but most observers in Spain equate him more with former Real and Liverpool strike striker Fernando Morientes. He is good at holding up the ball, has good athleticism and is excellent in the air.But he is also quick despite his height and has earned praise for the intelligence of his movement.

Cons- :boh:

While many rumours from tuttosport and gazzetta are found to be rubbish, many of them are found to be true. It's not like that.

When tuttosport says stg which is bad for Juve, there's a higher chance it's true, 'cause they are the supporting Juve newspaper.

They just said that now Conte and Agnelli are more far away than before. Nani is signed and Conte doesn't want him. Conte wants Di Maria. LOL. But seeing how delusional Conte seems in many interviews, I wouldn't doubt that. He is pushing the club to spend a lot of money this summer and the club just can't.

There will be another meeting today.

I've seen him a few times this season.

Pros: he's young, and has respectable pace for his size, good presence in the box, and is capable of finishing difficult chances. Definitely talented.

Cons: I'm not sure he's that much of an upgrade over what we have. At least not yet.

"Nani too old" :touched: He forgot to say talentless also.
Neither, but he isn't "suitable for the club's project".

For one, he's inconsistent. He also lacks any defensive workrate. He also has hardly played in the last year.

We're trying to build a UCL winner. Luis Nani is not a piece that will help bridge the gap...

That being said, Suarez and Cavani are the most unrealistic targets possible, especially Suarez. Last year was the time to acquire Suarez as he was unhappy with being out of Europe. This year, the team is improving, he's in UCL, and Liverpool can credibly ask for Bale-type compensation. We're not Real Madrid... It won't happen.

heres a question for the financial experts here :D

is it better to get Nani for 15M + bonuses and give him a 4M salary, or Di Maria for 30M + bonuses and give him a 3M salary? how would our loss per year spread over the length of their contracts (someone wrote about how much our loss is for Vuci and Quag)? also, which one is a better buy from the marketing point of view, and how big is their difference in that regard? :D

for 5M its really a steal. it would be one of the best Beppe deals ever. however, i dont think United are so stupid, and the latest rumours that Van Gaal stopped the deal arent very promising. maybe they want to lure more money from us that way :boh:...

I wouldnt call it a steal either. For 5m it would be a fine deal cos this guy's done shit all the last two seasons and injury prone so we're taking a gamble on him by paying little..However if we end up paying 15m,that would be an Martinez-esque deal.

if you dont count wages, it is a steal. we got Peluso and Padoin for that money. but that 4M salary bothers me. it points toward another Pepe or Iaquinta which would be too much for this club...

But we of course do need to count wages, because the likes of Peluso or Padoin cost us a total of €10m over a 4-year contract. Nani at €5m with €4m salary would cost us €33m, considering the Italian tax rate.

Exactly.

Even paying 5m including those huge wages is like a gamble no matter which way you look at it.Hasnt even had close to a dozen starts in the past two seasons. No way i'd call it a steal.

I'm pretty sure we are not that retarded to pay 15m for a crocked player anyway.

this is what i asked in my first post up there. what if we pay Nani 15M and what would Di Maria cost us if we get him for 30-35M + bonuses and give him a 3M salary (which he earns at Real currently). and also other players that are mentioned, mainly Cuadrado (he has 1M at Viola, we could give him 2M) and Sanchez (he has 5-6M at Barcelona)...

- - - Updated - - -

and what would our loss over the years be on them (like someone explained how much we lost on Vucinic and Quags)...
