won the champions league and went to 2 finals why? because he had players like Ronaldo, scholes and rooney doing all of the work and winning games. nani, on his own has achieved nothing and makes no difference. He is no game changer and he will never be. especially in Europe.

If you want a game changer we should chase konoplyanka. the guy makes fullback cry and he actually has the brain to make the right decision as proven in games against france and england. His contract ends in 2015 and He won't cost too much. Given that he plays in Ukraine he would want to prove himself in a team of quality like ours. We should make him our number 1 target instead of that nani :inter:
The last 2 seasons where nani was a regular starter he contributed 30 goals each year in goals and assists and was selected as Man Utds. player of the year in one of those seasons. He can be a fundamental player and game changer when he is healthy and given a good run in the team. Also our midfield is stronger then Man Utds so he would be even more influential here with guys like Vidal, Pogba and Pirlo behind him.

Nani is an elite player who has fallen on some hard times, but for us thats a good thing cuz otherwise we probably could not get him or afford him. The price he would come for is what we used to pay for shit quality players like Iaquinta or Martinez. We can't refuse Nani for a similar fee.

im sure Marotta knows about Konoplyanka, everyone does. in fact i suggested him like 3-4 months ago. but we are not interested in him, so why bother talking about him and whats he capable off. Nani is/was linked with us several times and he is a better player than Cerci/Menez. and he has proven himself in a big club, he knows how to play big games and has alot of international experience (and hes still 26-27). so you get a proven player at the highest level, who hasnt even reached his prime yet. think about that
the thing is, our management is stupid enough to NOT chase Konoplaynka. The guy is a missile and has been proven at internation level. the whole Ukrainian team relies on him to create chances, he was the only reason why Ukraine beat france 2-0 in the 1st leg.

We are missing player after player and chasing old rusty players like tevez and nani. it's aweful by juve standards. long gone the days of proper scouting world class talent like treseguet and ibra.

our management is hardly stupid. they are geniusses. getting a team like this for such low money is great. and no, konoplyanka (i would like him here tbh) is not a better game changer than nani...

Tevez is one of our best players, he is born 84. Just as old as Chiellini, Robben, younger then Van Persie. One year older then Ronaldo. Ofcourse we are going to miss players can't get them all. Look at the bright side instead, We have Pogba and Vidal im sure all the fans of other teams in Europe think the same way you think about missing players, when they see Pogba the best talent in the world, and Vidal the best defensive midfielder in Europe dominate in our shirt.

What, exactly has Kono proven? I'm not a huge Nani fan either. He pisses me off with his antics. But he's twice the player Kono is.
twice the player? have you seen him against france? he was the only source of creativity for Ukraine and he lifted the whole team up with is chance making. also against England, he maid Walker (on of the best and fastest fullbacks in PL) look like peluso. He is also a perfect conte type of player as he frequently helps the fullbacks to defend.

Nani is a brainless chicken compared to him. can't make a proper decision and he's too selfish. not to mention that he doesn't defend as well which is very anti-conte.

[Rakib] Nani is shit but hey lets sign cerci and quaresma as his backup. Whilst we buy shaqiri on the cheap because bleacher report state he is unhappy! Whilst berardi is on the verge of being a balon d'or winner so bring him back too. Then we should sack Conte and hire the verona manager because he will bring iturbe for free and he plays a 433 system which will lead us to Cl glory [/rakib]

Konoplaynka, to be honest haven't seen him play. But I remember Liverpool tried to get him in january, isen't he really expensive to begin with. Would you like Juventus to pay 20-25 million euros for him?

2010-11 Transfer revenue: 36.675.000 € - Transfer expenditures: 60.580.000 € = -23.905.000 €
2011-12 Transfer revenue: 20.000.000 € - Transfer expenditures: 100.700.000 € = -80.700.000 €
2012-13 Transfer revenue: 23.300.000 € - Transfer expenditures: 68.400.000 € = -45.100.000 €

Geniuses? I don't think so.

Compare that to Atletico Madrid which have spent around 70m on the whole current squad they have now or even Dortmund and we look more stupid then ever. Also considering we can't even qualify for the group stages.

But quaresma's defending is oh so much better than nani

from day 1 I always hoped for cavani or sanchez. instead with got this tevez who can't finish the ball when he is in Europe. yes our midfield is world class but they cant do all of the work.
