La Stampa said we are looking to sell Immobile to Dortmund or West Ham.

Also, Immobile coming back just doesn't make sense considering we have Tevez and Llorente and it especially doesn't make sense if we're looking to use a 4-3-3 next season.
West Ham? ffs

Immobile will come next season because conte already knows him and we will be clanning to sell vucinic, quags and giovinco unless we plan to loose them all for free next season.

This is where Co-ownerships backfire on us, Giovinco instead of loaning him out we sold 50% for 3.5 million only to bring him back a year or two later and pay 10 million for 50% to get him back.

Immobile sold 50% for what was it about 5 million? If we want to get that 50% back we have to spend easily 10-15 million to bring him back.

I dont understand why we cant loan these players out instead of selling 50% of the contracts?

We could loan them of course, but they wouldn't get enough playing time. Every team is looking to benefit in some way, lesser teams develop our players and we in the end pay the costs of their development. What incentive would Sampdoria, Atalanta, Torino and others have to field bunch of our youngsters only for them to leave at the end of the season if/once they achieved affirmation.

What motivation do the clubs have to spend resources on loaned players if they're not going to profit from them. You sell these clubs 50% of these talents and they work like mad to develop them as much as possible while they have them, depending on how succesfull their effort is, they make a nice profit and we get a 20m player for 10m (that is if we pay 15m for his half) or for only 5m if we buy him for 10. Its a pretty sweet deal as we cant afford to develop these players in the first team, we simply cant offer these talents a place where they can learn from their mistakes as the pressure at juve simply wont allow it.

If you have any more questions, please direct them to @JuveJay .

Everton are happy to give Lukaku lots of game time though? I mean i understand what u guys are saying but Immobile was on loan for a couple of seasons before we sold 50% of the contract it's not like we have to do it do we?

It's also a good way for us to keep a good book balance, selling half of these youngsters for a couple of million and then we can just pick what player we're going to trust once they all develop a bit.

Apparently Marotta thinks co-owns should be abolished, and the league are looking into it. I don't know when it's going to happen, but it's bound to happen, as co-owns only exist in Italy (if we consider the other top leagues that is).

He was against co-ownerships, but Serie A will continue using co-owns for the time being. I agree it will probably be abolished soon too.

Abolishing co-ownerships is beneficial to us because small clubs will be forced to use more loanees from big clubs. They develop our players and we don't have to spend big bucks to get them back.

We have to do it if we don't want players to stagnate. We cannot offer them playing time, pressure here might be devastating for youngsters. That Immobile situation from few years ago was different. He was loaned out to Pescara, then Serie B team and those are willing to accept whatever we give them, whatever condition we present to them. But in our interest is that most youngsters get Serie A experience, and if it's not possible to obtain these conditions Serie B clubs become our last resort.

Before we sold his half he was playing in Serie B. Now he's getting regular playing time in a cery well functioning Serie A team. Go figure.

No, they won't develop our players for free, I guarantee you that. We'll have to work our way around. Probably buy back clauses where the final price will be determined beforehand.
