Where did I say he would make us significantly better?!
I said he is a much better player than Giovinco therefore it would be an improvement having him instead of Giovinco...
I rather see us gunning for the ones who will take us a step up and will fit our formation/s
Cuadrado for example could improve us!
no need to explain. he is too much in love with that sanchez mino.

again how is he actually better than giovinco when cerci himself has never succeeded at a 'big' club. At least with Giovinco he has been decisive at times.
:facepalm2:

we should we should we should we should we should

but we will:

- keep the exact same starting team and system;
- improve the squad a bit with guys like lulic, paletta, pereyra, candreva/cerci.

If we fail to win the scudetto next year Conte may change the system, regardless of Europe.

Decisive at times?! I`m sure Cerci could be "decisive at times" if he gets to play for a big club but first you need to give him the chance to play in a big club...
I`m not saying Cerci is WC while Giovinco is shit... Giovinco will always be the boy with so much unfulfilled potential!

Your comment is like saying no player that plays for another team (not a top one) is better than one of a top team since he never played for a top team while the thing is you usually start at a small team and just then you move to a top team!
IMO Cerci would go to one of Roma Milan Juve next season so you could finally say if he is a good player or not since you can only rate players when they reach a big club

We would win it again but its only because we are much better than the other Italian sides...
If we want the CL we need to improve as there are great teams not just mediocre serie a sides

so what would Juve actually achieve by parting with cash and/or player for another player who isn't any more proven than Giovinco at this level?

what did cerci achieve at fiorentina? or at roma? at least Giovinco has shown consistency during his time at Parma and even at Empoli. This is effectively Cerci's only good season to date

The thing with Cerci is, that he fits our starting teams better, whereas giovinco is useless against static defending teams, and only shines when they are tired leaving loads of space.

Cerci, has shown to be good as SS this season, but could also allow us to play with wingers. NO, i dont think he's a long term starter, he's far from that level, but IF we need to hardcounter an opponent with hardworking double wings, Cerci is a conte's favorite.

At least I don't sell out on my own beliefs, one moment you want to trade giovinco for cerci, and today 'Giovinco should be starting on the wing because he is a decisive player'
for now he should be starting in a 4321 but if the opportunity comes I would trade him for an inform cerci in the summer. for now he would be a very good solution to our lack of creativity and pace upfront.

Juventus players arent suited for 4231. It would remove most of the solid points we have.

And i'm the longest and biggest fan of 4231 on this forum, so dont even bother.

What we would achieve I dont know ask Conte..
I only said Cerci is a better player than Giovinco!
I didnt say please may we win the lottery with sigining Cerci..
Cerci as I said would probably end up at a big club after his good season with Torino. We`ll see how he play there.
As for Giovinco right now he is a star for small clubs while a proven flop for a big club as he is not exactly the success we hoped for.
I repeat again Cerci is not in my wishlist although he won`t be such a terrible signing!

you keep avoiding my question, cerci was a flop at both roma and fiorentina before he went to torino. what does that tell you?

Switch to 4-3-3? Keep Seba as reserve, sign Menez for free and spend the money on Cuadrado/Griezmann/Di Maria/Lavezzi or whatever big money signing available out there.

It tells me that he has improved his game since then or its only because he is playing in a small team
While watching him play you realize its the former and not the later
