Allan

If we got rid of 3 attackers we would surely need to bring at least 2: Osvaldo & youth?
1st i dont think Giovinco will leave (not alot clubs seems to be interested and he also rejected some in january). but if we lose all 3 backups then Osvlado is the no.1 option to sign + Immobile/Manolo + 5th striker. around 10M price tag, or another loan. if Soton keeps insisting on the 20M then we should let him go. so if we fail to get him then we have2 options. get back both Ciro and Manolo + get a good SS, or keep Giovinco get one of them and buy a CF/SS depending on what Conte would ask for. however, besides Mandzukic and RVP, we were not really linked with anyone who could be available. even these 2 seems to be out of reach so i have no idea who we might get in that scenario...

in serie a with the 352 our attack could be:

Tevez(Giovinco/Menez)-----Llorente(Immobile)

in champions league:

RW(Menez)-----Llorente(Immobile)----Tevez(Giovinco/LW)

If it were up to me, I would bring in Berardi and Immobile and forget about Osvaldo. I would keep Vucinic and offload Quagliarella and Giovinco. I would then "seek" to bring in both Coentrao and Cuadrado (one is a good left back and wing back), the other can play anywhere on the right flank (including attack) and can also be useful on the left.

If we play 352 again next season we have Lichsteiner, Cuadrado, Coentrao and Asamoah as wing back options - a lot more depth than this season.

If we play with 4 at the back, Coentrao would be our first choice left back and Cuadrado would be our attacking right sided player - Berardi would be his deputy in that role.

The cost would not be horrendous because Cuadrado and Coentrao would cost us 30-35m in total. I reckon we could get around 25m by selling half of Sorensen, De Ceglie, Isla (our half), Giovinco and Quagliarella. So it would be a relatively low cost mercato.

3-5-2: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Lichsteiner / Cuadrado, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Coentrao / Asamoah, Tevez / Vucinic, Llorente / Immobile / Berardi.

-----------------------------Buffon/---------------------------
-----------------------------Storari---------------------------

----------------Barzagli/----Bonucci/----Chiellini/---------------
----------------Caceres----Ogbonna-----Peluso----------------

Lichsteiner/-----Vidal/-----Pirlo/-------Pogba/--------Coentrao/
Cuadrado------F Rossi?----Marchisio----(Asamoah)----Asamoah
-----------------------------------------------------(Cuadrado)

------------------Llorente/----------Tevez/------------------
------------------Immobile----------Vucinic------------------
-------------------Berardi-----------------------------------

4-3-3: Buffon, Lichsteiner, Barzagli, Chiellini, Coentrao, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Cuadrado / Berardi, Llorente / Immobile, Tevez / Vucinic

-----------------------Buffon/---------------------
-----------------------Storari----------------------

Lichsteiner/-----Barzagli/-----Chiellini/-----Coentrao/
Caceres--------Bonucci------Ogbonna------Peluso--

--------Vidal/----------Pirlo/---------Pogba/-------
-------F. Rossi?------Marchisio-------Asamoah------

----Cuadrado/-------Llorente/---------Tevez/-------
-----Berardi---------Immobile---------Vucinic-------
---------------------(Tevez)-----------------------

- - - Updated - - -

Also if there is no Pirlo, we could revert to a 4231:

---------------------Buffon-------------------

Lichsteiner-----Barzagli----Chiellini----Coentrao

----------------Vidal------Pogba-------------

------Cuadrado------Tevez-------Vucinic-----

--------------------Llorente-----------------

Transfermarkt, right?
obviously... i love how he always pretends to know :D
same with transfer fees: he finds a new player on youtube, looks him up on transfermarkt (player valued at 7mio there), posts here in the forum "*youtube-vid*, he is great, i think we can get him for around 7m"
and all this even after he admitted that he has never seen some of the players he praises outside of a youtube video

that's where he has played this season. he played SS against roma. how can u expect him to play LWB
well he got a 4* weak foot on fifa. so there shouldn´t be a problem :tuttosport:

About immobile, yeah he plays as a CF for torino, but i consider him capable of both roles, and juve needs to have forwards capable of holding on to the ball as much as possible for the tactical flow of the central midfield (there, i said it, go make 50 more peasant jokes about tactical flow).

If immobile can do that, fine, but if he cant, i'd play him alongside llorente when tevez is rotated

sanchez mino doesn't know. please tell him :D

evidence? in Europe?
There is enough evidence to suggest it would work, and far to less to say it wont.

Last season was all the proof you need, untill we came against a superior bayern munchen.

Luckely because we played 352, we only got 4-0 over two legs, where barcelona was unlucky to play 433 and got smashed 7-0 over 2 legs
In YOUR method of thinking, that is enough evidence.

llorente, tevez, immobile, giovinco, menez, and maybe gabbiadini

immobile+osvaldo would cost too much and considering that we need wingers and I would invest the money on that
We wont have money for wingers regardless of what we do. TO play wingers, they must be better then our central midfield, cause it will push them in a defensive role.

Nope, we should strenghten our proven formation. Immobile (if he wants to come) and Osvaldo will do just that

Too bad Fiorentina rather go bankrupt than sell some player to us...
I really dont get why peasants keep talking Cuadrado, how many times do we need proof that fiorentina wont sell, i dont get it man.

in last years campaign we got celtic in the last 16 and that's why we reached top8. if look at todays champions league we would have got Chelsea and they would have beaten us quite easily considering the style of play and consistency under mourinho. last year's Chelsea was half the team of this years Chelsea. We were luckly with the team picks lasdt year and that's why the 352 worked. we had better players in every single position.

Barca got trashed because of their lack of physicality and organisation. they had to tactical strategy whatsoever. it was not the formation that made them loose it was their lack of focus and bad organisation. and considering that Bayern are now using 4141 which is a high pressing 433 and are trashing everyone, I thin it's suitable for us too to use something similar.

in a 433 the central midfielders are not limited, actually they will have less defensive duties and therefore will have more chance to attack. a 433 with vidal and pogba is a 4-1-4-1 when attacking .

Menez: Now I am looking for a team that I can go to and have fun. Juventus, I like a lot. They have many good players but I am not afraid of competition."

The Dream: Di Maria
The Great Addition: Teixeira
The Reality: Pereyra

Mind you, Pereyra wouldn't be too bad. I'd welcome here.
