why? why would it not work?

- - - Updated - - -

think of it this way. if we were playing real Madrid would u be rather play marchisio at right wing or balotelli?
one - balotelli is not a winger
secondly - he can't cross
third - he is the type of player that wants to be at the centre of all attack, like a zlatan.
and lastly i can't honestly imagine him working hard down the wing

If we keep Pogba I realistically dont see how we can upgrade our attack properly. There are no top wingers currently out of favour and available for cheap.

It will have to be a gamble like Iturbe.

And i can not suffer 352 any more. Too many flaws that everybody in Europe can seemingly exploit
This is my main problem as well. There's need for rebuilding the squad and none can argue with that. Without proper signings and change of the system this team will most probably crash out of CL once again next year. The squad is getting older and the current gameplan clearly doesn't work.

I was putting across the idea of 2 supporting strikers behind Llorente the main striker. I mean it would be similar to the Henry Eto Messi type of partnership where all 3 attackers would rotate in attack. Balotelli is a striker that can drop deep and get past players and so can tevez. He can play behind llorente and help him.

the only problem I see is that he would not defend overlapping sullbacks but I think that we should use our midfielders to do that job (just like prandelli uses marchisio and de rossi to stop fullbacks in a 4312) and then let tevez and balotelli pressurise the usual midfield 2 of the opponent.

under any manager a llorente tevez and balotelli partnership would not work but I recon conte could really make balotelli flourish.

Buffon
Litchsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Asamoah
Vidal --- Pirlo --- Pogba
Balotelli Tevez
Llorente

Could work u never know.

it would never work, his style is not one to support the main striker, he is far too selfish on the ball to even be considered as a supporting forward and he's not exactly a creative thinking player neither

I gthink im with badass on this one.

He isnt the type of cooperative dude you know. he wants to be in the spotlight and thats the personality of a targetman/centerforward. He is not bad with the ball at his feet so he can be used as a good alternative/rotation from Llorente, whos eems to be struggling with the ball as his feet a lot as of late. In fact, looks discomfort at times.

Also im not sure if Tevez would like to be played as a left winger. But hwo knows, he is very versatile and hardworking so he could adapt.

Anyways,.... thats in a imaginary world where Balotelli is a good proffesional and would not moan or cry,so it is very possible will never happen.
But with Marotta and his "oportunities" u never know.

Balo will come one day, he is destined to play for all 3 big clubs in Italy. Anyway just like Badass said Balotelli can only play as a cf. We are not going to play him out of position nor is he a supporting striker.
