Yes I realize that but how many times has it been said in here? Every summer there's a new Aguero, RVP etc. but the fact is the club is not richer just because we crashed out of CL group which was way earlier than anyone could expect. 30m for Griezmann is just unrealistic. If Juve had that kind of money I'm pretty sure Cuadrado would be ahead of Griezmann.

I'm all set for Cerci. It's not the right time to expect big money signings. Oh and also $#@! Menez. Cerci is better anyway.
Cerci has been playing for midtable teams while Menez was a starter at a good team.

two of menez/nani/cerci and (this will be the hardest part of the mercato) one of cuadrado/di maria/griezmann if possible... of course, we'd have to sell all three of our unused strikers (vucinic, giovinco, quagliarella) if we fail to sell all 3 then buy just 2 of the mentioned...

add a LB (hopefuly coentrao on loan + potion to buy but 10-15M in two installments would be OK too) and our defense is set...

add another CM for rotation (damn inter, if we got guarin we wouldnt have to bother with this in the summer), rossi or marrone are the 2 we could get, otherwise i cant really say who we might target...

i know its pretty unrealistic :D. we have a small chance to get him but thats OK. Giovinco might stay so we just need 2 players for the right side and 2 of Cerci/Menez/Nani are the most realistic.... i was hoping we sell Gio too and get a 3rd winger but im OK if not..

But momentum is on the Cerci's side. He's in pretty good form for second season running while Menez is basically ridding the bench at PSG. Listen to the PSG fan - he was injured, played very little lost his pace and all that stuff. He was never a world beater to begin with anyway.

Menez is the sort of quality back up you would want, has some talent, he's versatile and he's got plenty of football left in him yet.

He's not starter material, and not worth changing our tactics for on his own, but he'll find it much easier to get playing time here as opposed to PSG.

remember when we tried to sign kolarov on loan with option to buy? I was rejected because a top team is not going to loan a player of that quality to a rival in Europe. if we want him it must be a permanent transfer. the liked of Manchester united need a leftback and I think they will get him. moyes has apparently been given a massive budget to rebuild the squad.

we instead need to act smart. we need to replace our backup leftback peluso and get someone a bit better on a free like evra as the backup choice. Then we should go and buy a good leftback at a low price and I think Santon would be perfect. He is still 23, Italian and has had experience in Europe with inter (he was superb against C.Ronaldo) and has had experience in a tough league like the premier league. Also considering Newcastle brought him for 5.6M we can easily buy him for 7-8M for a leftback that would serve us for the next 7-8 years.

Uh oh....

Carlo Laudisa says Andrea met with PSG's president regarding Pogba, he's trying to create an auction.

Di Marzio also says we want Morata and the player would like the move aswell.
