If those Canreva rumors are true, the board must resign immediately, or Agnelli should fire them for misappropriation of funds and downright thievery. Better yet, sell off the club to a true fan.

Acquiring Candreva and losing Vidal in the same mercato is tantamount to the apocalypse.
If Juve weren't going to allow Iturbe's agent to bend them over and allow him to keep partial control of him while still paying close to 30 million in total for a player who is 6 years younger with a higher ceiling, then there is no way they are going to pay 35 million for Candreva.

We just had this discussion about Italian players, you ass :D

I know I know :D Dramatic flair :p

In all honesty, Candreva is totally unnecessary. If by the end of the mercato, and after we have acquired a proper 3/4ista, funds still remain, then by all means go for him. However, Lotito is a lunatic if he thinks Candreva is worth anything more than 12-15 million in cash.

At the end of yest session Allegri formed 2 teams for a short match which hinted towards 4-3-2-1 (Gio & Tevez behind Llorente).GdS

Not bad idea at all, but we still need some reinforcements in defense and attack. Trequartista and some left-footed winger would be awesome, but I highly doubt that we will acquire both. There are not many players of this type on the market, and one of them we just have missed (Iturbe), while second one decided to stay in Sassuolo. I really regret that there is no possibility to cancel whole agreement with Sassuolo and bring Berardi back.

I said 15mln. Yeah, simply because our most expensive players were Mirko, Asamoah and Isla. Then we had Bonucci and Ogbonna. Bar those we had Melo/Diego as our most expensive players.

So I was pretty much aiming at our history of transfers. (Tevez, Pogba, Vidal, Llorente, Barzagli, Licht = ~33mln)

But you're gonna be one of those to say 'we signed Morata, Pereyra, Evra and Candreva (??), we could have signed a world class player if we wanted'. But you know what, that's not the case and it's what I've been talking about for months.
We are still in the market for that type of player. It looks like we are intensively trying to add that final piece of puzzle and plenty of time left before the window closes to write us down. We have shown our ambitions to bring quality, I thought it was obvious this time around. Patience.

I know bro, was just saying.

I just hope our final puzzle won't be Candreva, eventhough I think he's useful.

Ljajic? :boh: Dortmund is linked with him for 11mln. Looks like a good option, I'd rather invest in him than Candreva.

 If that happens I'll join your crusade. But bro, never gonna happen, seriously. :p

L'Equipe mentioning that two players of Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Lucas Moura, Marco Verratti & Edinson Cavani must be sold. :klin:

According to L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain cannot complete moves for either Di Maria or Aurier. #PSG need to sell before buying.

:boh: I see that name not so often, no idea if it's reliable.
ANY name is more reliable than Curva and we still see his name.

I guess the talk about top player should be changed, it is definitely meant as a well established player and these are the players that we cannot buy. We try but we fail each and every time which is why most of the fans are frustrated. Of course we have top players who were bought at bargain if not free prices and of course that's a sign of doing great business but if we look at our spending we can see that these sums are being wasted on players that don't give anything in return and instead of spreading them over 3 or 4 players they can be spent on ONE established player that will contribute and enhance those other bargain deals.

I know now that the question of depth will pop up but I also know that we have a large amount of ready young players that we waste on loans at teams that do not give them the proper experiences to develop into squad players. And then we have those free and very cheap transfers that can be used for bench players if necessary or if the youth are not good enough.

It's not rocket science really but apparently it is for Marotta and co.

According to L'equipe, PSG has made Edinson Cavani, Salvatore Sirigu, Thiago Motta and Marco Verratti available for transfer since they want to sign Di Maria and Aurier but can't due to FFP rules.
What about Verrati and/or Cavani.

Sky is linking us with Shaqiri and downplaying Roma's interest since they would have to offload Ljajic before even thinking about going for him.

They want to sell Cavani? Ok, poor season for his class but not in his prefered position. Cavani has proven himself many times.

For 4-3-1-2 i would go for Pastore. Slow, no stamina etc. but he is great for his role.
