Im imagining a scenario where Vidal considers leaving and you have to take two factors into account here imo.
A.Does he believe we're gonna do squat in Europe for the next few yrs and thinks its time to move on ?
B.Does he believe United(who are loaded with money now) are gonna shoot straight back to the top in no time especially if they make a whole host of world class signings ?
Not saying this is going to happen but both can be considered imaginable scenarios when the player is thinking about leaving.
And if Vidal asks to leave,there's no point in keeping him imo.Just milk the buyer as much as you can.

Yeah agreed. If he asks to leave sell to the highest bidder. I'd prefer to see him at City more than at United but at the end of the day pulling an auction is the most important thing.
