Coman would be a risky choice to slip, he needs to be slowly and steadily be introduced into the first 11 kinda like Pogba. A total immersion would put too much pressure on him, and Giovinco is a proper fall-back option as we are short on speedy fucks. Marchisio is the disposable asset at this point if we secure Rabiot.

It's mediocre as fuck. Why is Maronne coming in, and why is Giovinco going out when we are deploying wingers? Giovinco stays for depth, Marchisio sold for 35, fund for Sanchez, no Evra pls.
Right, I didnt notice there was Gio out, he should stay imo. As for Marrone, he is not needed if Asa is going to play in the middle.

How good is this Coman really? At 18 yo can we expect him to feature apart from few odd minutes now and then. Knowing Conte this guy will be confined to bench, or even stands. Maybe he'll get more playing time in our Primavera.

Corriere dello sport says Roma overcame Inter and Juve to sign Rabiot for 5M.
The only reason why he might choose the likes of Roma is that we do not deem him important enough. We can't offer guarantees to these youngster; if they come here, they are likely to be on the fringes. Pogba accepted that role in the beginning, but most players wouldn't and the prospect of getting more playing time in some other side, less prestigious, might be hard to refuse.

but Roma too has a stacked midfield. Pjanic, De Rossi, Strootman, Nainggolan. compare that to us and you see he would be in a similar situation either way. he would be ahead of Padoin definetly and Pirlo will have limited minutes next season probably, so he might play quite often + the CL and Coppa. it really only depends on us. we want him only next season for free apparently but if we show him that we are ready to get him now, Roma has no chance
