Chirico - "The Colombian close to Juve? It's not Guarin nor Ibarbo. It's Balanta. The cost is about 5m."

Marchetti and Mediaset report Verona will meet with Juve and Milan to discuss offers for Iturbe. Marchetti claims Iturbe's situation will be solved this week.

What kind of bullshit valuation is this? He's worth nowhere near 20m. We should stop our conquest for Serie A based players, and just start buying from outside of Italy...

So a realistic mercato so far:
Out: Immobile (8M), Zaza (7.5M), Isla (7M - salary 1.4M net), Vucinic (6M - salary 3M net), Quagliarella (exchange - salary 2.1M net), Giovinco (7M - salary of 1.4M net), Peluso (4M - salary 0.8M net), Sorensen (4M), Rossi (1.5M), Gouano (1M), De Ceglie (free loan - salary 1.3M net, we pay half), Motta (free loan - salary 0.6M net, we pay half), Pasquato (free loan) = around 47M in sales and reduction of around 10M in salaries net

In: Coman (free - salary around 0.7M net), Sorensen (2.5M), Pasquato (1.5M), Isla's 2nd half (4.5M), Sturaro (6M - remains at Genoa), Romulo (5M, salary of 0.8M), Balanta (6M - salary 1M net), Iturbe (20M - salary 1.5M net), Morata (18M - salary 1.5M), Guarin (10M + Quagliarella - 3M net salary) = 63.5M in signing fees, + around 8.7M in salaries net

If this all happens, it's around 15M spending in signing fees (which will go on installments) without increasing the salary sheet.

We keep the starting team and 352 primarily.

The bench would have: Storari, Ogbonna, Balanta, Caceres, Padoin, Guarin, Marchisio, Coman, Iturbe, Morata. Looks good to me. We'd still need a LB, I don't think we'll sign one though.

I don't see the point of signing Guarin, better invest that money in a LB

You should be working in the finance department

I still don't see Guarin joining, still not sold on Morata either

At this time, I really doubt we'll sign Guarin. I think if he is sold, he'll be sold abroad.

And Jorge Martinez is officially unemployed. He's no longer a Juventus player. 2M gross off our wage bill, though I don't know how much of that we've been actually been paying these last few years. Regardless, good thing he's gone.

And it looks like Osvaldo is gone too.

Pretty fair valuations IMO, and i think our mercato COULD look something like that (doesn't have to be exactly Guarin, Balanta, Romulo and Iturbe, but their profiles, prices and etc. match the combination we would bring in i believe). I don't think Giovinco will leave though, but overall i guess around 50-60 millions seem like what we got (including sales off course).

I would be happy if we didn't jump on Romulo and Balanta, and signed a winger or a left back instead. For the mid i wish we would go for Aranguiz from Chile, that guy is really a hot prospect. Guarin wouldn't be bad as a back up though.
