I don't think the fuss is over his talent level, even though he is a relative unknown and thus his signing is somewhat surprising. I think most of the fuss is over his cost when considering our current financial situation and the fact that we will likely not see returns until at least one season probably more. At least, that's my fuss over it.

I have no problem signing him with an eye on his future development if we weren't currently trying to improve our first team and being very nearly cash-poor; that situation causes me to fuss.

No problems with the Sturaro signing, seems to be a pretty highly rated young Italian CM. It's the Padoins and Pelusos of the world that are the wastes of money, not these signings.

Even if Sturaro 'il nuovo Nocerino' turns out good then he won't accept bench role and he can only be sold to SerieA clubs and SerieA clubs don't have money so Juve will have to do another player exchange with another mediocre player. €5.5m or something of the current budget to leave him on loan and then buy Romulo or someone else for another €5m-€6m for backup, probably more for backup leftback... add to that can't sell Vucinic, Quagliarella, Ogbonna, Peluso, Padoin, Motta, De Ceglie for decent amount (that also adds to the wage bill by a lot)... it's no wonder budget for big player is so less. that way Juve might end up buying players with whatever budget is left... Morata, Ibarbo and the likes.

Did you know that buying the Sturaro kid have an negative impact on 1-1,5 million euro on the budget this season.
