the good thing is that we are finally interested in some younger attacking players rather than 27+ who might have better qualities atm, but will only decline. It seems like we are trying to decrease average age of our squad, there was no rumour of Juve interested in any attacking player 27+ bar Drogba (which if remember correctly Marotta denied anyway). Our CL plan seems to be something like 3 years plan rather than for next season.
Which is imo good, we cant afford players who will take us to another level this mercato, but we can grow our own players who will do this in next few years. Iturbe, Morata (im not really sure about his qualities tbh), Berardi, maybe Gabbiadini is quite good start.

Agreed. IMO the management takes the right direction. Add to that the need for decreasing wage bill as well.

quite honestly he's a decent player and i wouldnt mind him if all else has failed...i dont think he was one of our primary targets but it is aparrent that our primary targets cannot be achieved
