but we know that he is really good, he has great talent. Surely it's a risk, like that Fiorentina took for Rossi. If we take it and Pato be the one that was, we will be benefited from him.
Talent is nothing if one doesn't have will to use it and work hard. The guy is washed up, not only his body but mentally too. I trust @crismonianKing and @PedroFlu who see him quite frequently in Brazil and he's no star there it seems.

Prefer Pato than Morata. If Moratas played for a team like Celta or Espanyol, now nobody would be interested in him. He is a mediocore player from Castilla.
very questionable argument. he isn´t "famous" because he plays for real... he is because he destroyed absolutely anything at u21 level.
if he had played at a midtable team in spain he probably would have been bought by real for 30m+ just like isco and fucking illasomething. (random argument as well because we just can´t know)

rossi? yes he enjoyed a great first half of the season but there are tons of other examples where a player never came anywhere close to his old form again after he suffered a major injury.
and btw: correct me if i´m wrong but we are talking about the same rossi who fucked up his knee again and missed the wc and the second half of the season because of it, right?

I want to say, that it's a risk both options. Pato's case is a risk because of his health, but he has proven himself in top level and is he is healthy can be really usefull for us. He is only 24, he have many years to progress. Is a player that needs more confidence, if he is healthy and have this, we can solve our forward problem.
Morata is a risk to me, for his value. We mustn't pay for him over 10m. He is nothing close to that price. If we pay for him an important part of our badget and he never adapt...would be a real problem. In u21 level we can see a lot of promising players who never adapt to demands. That case is Morata.
