@Bartolo I never said Candreva was shit. I just said we should do better. He'd be a decent bench option for us. He is versatile and hard working, but lacks that x factor. I see a lot of people jizzing their pants because he performed well last night, but let's remember that performing well at the world cup means jack shit when it comes to an entire league season. Many players had great world cups and were never anything special for their respective club sides.
Candreva as our primary target would signal lack of ambition on out part, and if he was to be our "star" signing it'd be an incredibly disappointing mercato. Oh, and he isn't world class, unless you only started watching football like last year

Agreed.
Candreva can be an useful player, but he has to come for the right price. Lazio will start demanding 25/30M for him. No way.
