Either way you look at it positive performances from Morata are a win-win situation for us, loan or buy, because we either get performances and goals from him or we get that plus money. I wouldn't mind a loanee scoring 15 goals. You call that a losing situation, but I really don't see how.
The situation has to be considered within context. I wouldn't mind Immobile scoring 15 goals either. We would then get both the performance and the increasing in our assets.

This is not only about getting Morata. This is about choosing Morata over Immobile.

Look at the contradiction here.

Juventus shits in its paints of fear when it comes to developing our own youth. We are very conservative.

But we wouldn't mind developing a Madrid's youngster.

Not very logical

We don't have lot of money so these players are affordable for us: Berardi (to move Asamoah back in the center when needed), Lulic. The rest money for Sanchez. Mercato done.
Out: long list and depends on Marotta's sucky sale ability.

I've already addressed this point; we clearly don't see Immobile suiting us, or at least not weighed against the transfer fee received. So it's perfectly logical to go for someone else we think does suit us, especially considering the positives previously mentioned.

    @Mark

Are any alternatives to Sanchez mentioned? Are we still interested in Itrube?
The media seem to think Real would want Iturbe. I don't buy it. I think he'd be a possibility. Depends on the price. If they want 30m like it's suggested then they can take a hike. I read we might be on Lamela's track and there's always Cuadrado IF Udinese gets the rats other half. Every year we get a surprise name so I would rule out those. Herrmann for example.

RM wanting Itrube sounds ridiculous to me as well. If we fail to get Sanchez I'd like to see him here. Lamela and Cuadrado seem to be impossible.

    Iturbe would be meh.
So who do you propose? If we fail to dish out 25-30m for Sanchez the alternatives have to be cheaper. Names that would suit us would be Shaqiri/Cerci/Itrube.

I never get it why it's easy to pay 15m for a backup wingback (Isla) or cb (Ogbonna) or even cm (15m rumored for Pereyra - lol). When it comes to wingers we never can find middle ground, like Barca with CBs, lol.

Teams know we need wingers and drive up the price?

Much easier to get away with that on attacking players.

I don't approve buying for the sake of buying. I prefer not spending our money on average players who won't improve us much. It will cost us more at the end.

Nani or Shaqiri would be great.
