Last Thursday Juve tabled an offer to Real for Angel DiMaria 5 year , 6 mill a year. Player seems to have accepted. Terms need to be finalized with Real. If this is true it would mean so much more than a new forward in my opinion. He would add serious dimension to our attack

Terms which include us somehow spending 40M on one player.

Unless we're quietly getting a cash injection, this is ridiculous media BS. Although it's about time we spent big on one player. A club who's had our success in the last 3 years shouldn't be scraping pennies together just so we can buy Pereyra.

What I read and heard no amount was mentioned between the clubs so the 40 mil could def be a media fabrication.

That's incredible story, can't believe we'd be able to afford player like Di Maria. Yeah, we could, but mercato would be finished for us in that case and there are other gaps to fill. Unlikely that we'll spend most of our budget on a single player. We might go for a cheaper solution, Sanchez.

The 40M might be subject to guesswork, but we allegedly struggle to buy 15M players and Di Maria will cost at least 30 at the bare minimum so I don't see how we could even make a reasonable starting offer. Not to mention even if Immobile + 100% of our budget was enough, we'd be adding 1 player to the team which means our bench is still useless for the most part and we have no cover.

You could possibly be correct your numbers sound about right. Although you never know. Some form of deal could end up and it may be a surprise, as DiMaria and his agent are pushing hard for a move

Here's hoping.

I reckon the best we could hope for would be Llorente +5-10M for Sanchez + Lukaku coming in for something like 5M upfront and the obligation to buy for 20M next season

So our expenditure isn't too high this season, and next season we can take care of Lukakus fee with our Adidas sponsorship money.

Also, a general clear out of our bench. With the replacements hopefully being younger.

Honestly that scenario is more likely and I wouldn't mind that all. :)
