Marotta needs to stop his penny pinching. It's beyond ridiculous at times. I understand if a player is valued at 10, then you go in with an offer of 5-6 million. That's called negotiating. What he is doing is potentially pissing a lot of other directors off, and in future no one is going to take him seriously. It's like I put up a unit for sale @ $200,000 and you come with an offer of $50,000. My response would probably be (provided you were a hot chick of course) to cock slap you a couple of times, bend you over, and fuck you hard, then send you on your way home.

Of course he is to blame. If you know a player is worth fucking 25 million, don't go in with an initial offer of 12. That is fucking retarded and will get you nowhere. In fact, it is borderline insulting. If I was the club being presented with that offer, I'd consider the other team's sporting director a complete clown or some court jester, and would refuse to do business with them in future.
