I think Menez will most likely come. With that being said, we should look for 2 other wingers, nani and most likely cerci. Asa has been playing great and I don't see why we shouldn't play him at lb if we were to switch. We would most likely need a back up lb like adRHCP said and Murru would be perfect. I just don't see how we could integrate two forwards in a 4-3-3, however regardless we should be looking for wingers for the versatility.

Menez=Free
Murru=Free
Nani=10-15m
Cerci=18m or immobile + cash

Maybe we could go with an asymmetric 4-3-2-1/4-3-3

Buffon

Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Asamoah

Vidal - Pirlo - Pogba

Right Wing............-----...............
........................
Tévez

Llorente

Get Murru to be a backup to Asamoah and develope him, and maybe another B2B like Guarín :cry:, I'd be down for a right footed RW, maybe Nani, and Ménez as a back-up for Tévez and the winger. We'd almost be complete.
That would force Asa to come provide the width if Tevez were to cut in which would leave our left side exposed. However you do have Vidal covering the side also.

Well, with Tévez workrate and Kwadwo's pace I think we will be fine. And also, as you said, Vidal and Pogba are rotating a lot, having Vidal there makes it an automatic safe side, but Pogba isn't half bad defending either.

And I really hope we won't get Cerci, I'd rather bring Berardi back or Gabbiadini or whoever is cheaper, we don't really need him here. We could make a good deal with that extra money and Marotta, even if it's just to please Conte (Ranocchia) or some unlikely deal.

I think it would happen this summer. conte has realised that he needs a change of formations and I think this time we are going to get some proper wingers.
why do you think we were linked with a host of wingers last summer? but our priority last summer was to also rectify our attack and we did so by purchasing Tevez to add to Llorente, unfortunately to say opportunities for a winger last summer wasn't as good as the opportunity to sign Tevez on the cheap

So are you saying 4-3-3 next season, Badass?
possibly, but i don't think it will necessarily be our starting formation. There were plenty of reports in the summer of Conte's intention to have a tactical variation especially for Europe, however securing a big name forward was a bigger priority, whilst there weren't really any opportunities to sign a winger other than nani who by then signed a new contract and it just seemed like the idea would have to be put on hold and just hope Pepe returned in the mean time.

at least in the summer Juve will have a better opportunity to sign a winger with Menez being available, possibly nani too and dare i say cerci etc...

yeah I think cerci is juve bound. I just hope it isn't for some ridiculous fee like 15 million. If we keep pogba then names like di maria are not possible. Cerci, menez, berardi makes sense keeping mind we'll need cash to make Osvaldo permanent which we know will happen.

I suppose the sale of Vucinic, quags, Giovinco will cover cerci and berardi fees...one would think anyway.

I just hope Pogba will sign a long large contract with us and keep happy and motivated.

Then let's get rid of Vucinic, Quags, Giovinco, Peluso, Padoin. If we can get 15/20M for all of them it's enough.

Get Murru, Fernando and Menez on a free, renew Osvaldo's loan and use this 15/20M as Conte wish.

real madrid, psg and barca could not go to the champions league final with the likes of romaldo messi and ibra so how do we expect to make it to top 4 with the likes of menez and cerci? To be honest my hopes rely of some magical scouting or berardi deveooping in something special.

Million dollar question:

Which formation are we going to play next season?

If it's 4-3-3 describe who will play on the wings while having in mind we have Tevez & Llorente who are not likely to be benched.

If it's 4-4-2 describe how we'll deal with Pirlo plus one guy next to him while having many options?

If it's 3-5-2... why.

- - - Updated - - -
3-5-2 because it's the formation that has broken records, won scudettos, and insured a 9 point lead at the top.

there is not a chance in hell Juventus will buy a winger in the summer. no way. nada. zilch. zero. proof is in the player juventus has signed and has been chasing for the last 4 transfer windows.

why fix what's not broken.

now cry me some sweet tears rakib

not wrong...comparing the fire power and attacking options of Bayern, barca, PSG, Man City etc...to us with cerci and menez, it does seem stupid to think we can take this team to a CL final or even get close. But what do we do? We sell a star like pogba, and bring in some real quality who can make the difference without really denting the quality of our midfield? We have the players at the club already to replace pogba...even if he will be 3 times the player they are when he is their age.

i dont think that 'rumour' was a joke, i wouldn't be surprised to see it materialise in the summer, especially if cech remains num 1 for chelsea

no what im saying it that i guarantee you lukaku will not be a starter at chelsea next season then you can come kiss my ass, and i assure you chelsea will look to sign a big name striker in the summer be is costa, mandzukic etc...
if mourinho really believed in lukaku's abilities he would have brought him back to the club already to try and solve the striker problem, that isn't even the case and neither can i see him being at the very least playing any influential role in mourinho's team any time soon. chelsea are after an established forward and i think that is a fairly well documented fact and that has been the case since last summer when they tried to sign falcao only to finish up with eto'o, they will be sure to try their hopes again in the summer on someone big but they aren't going to pin their hopes on lukaku to bring the goods
Agree with you on this, if Mourinho really believes in Lukaku, he wouldn't have gotten Eto'o and gave him a chance this season.
Last season at West Brom should have already been enough to convince him. But instead he preferred to sign a 33-year old striker.
He'll be sold last summer, I am almost certain about that.
Courtois is another question, he is proving himself to be better the Cech so I think this will be a more difficult choice for Chelsea.
Unless Costa is an option, I doubt Courtois will be sold.

If we want to keep both Vidal and Pogba the best thing IMO is to sell Marchisio while he is still being over valued...
We could play Asamoah as a CM/LWB and we could buy a LWB maybe even use Cuadrado there and use both Cuadrado`s speed and liveliness to create havoc to our opponents+use Asamoah`s ability of going forward
