How? Please, I would pay to see you explain this. So Nani is running down our right wing with, using his right foot to move the ball along. This means that the defending LB will automatically need to position himself to shut down Nani's running lane down the flank. Nani uses both feet perfectly, which means that he has an easier time cutting in and shooting with his left than he would have if he was a left footed right winger.
Have you ever played soccer?

He hasn't got any choice, he has been forced to use Pepe as a right winger, because we haven't bought anyone left-footed so far apart from Asamoah.

Don't forget he wanted Diamanti last year.
But hey - it worked. With Llorente I'm sure Conte will want a winger that crosses well; I have no doubt.

I agree. Nani is one of those wingers who uses both feet very well.

Meeting at Juve's headquarter now between Marotta and Dortmund's management - even Klopp was supposed to be there, but he can't.

By Di Marzio.

I'd rather bring Immobile back... I hope we won't regret this. But bye bye.. I think it's going to be like 20M + 5M... shipping Immobile away for 10M. :(
Agreed. If we sell him I think we'll regret it. Then we'll be chasing another Lewandowski/Cavani that will be valued 50m while we could have gotten Immobile for 10m.

I have played soccer and I'm currently coaching a senior side - so I'm very interesting in seeing your explanation for this.
It doesn't look like.

On the highest level, every single mistake matters. And even if you are so skillful to use your both feet perfectly there is still difference between your better leg and weaker leg. That's why it's more convenient to run with the ball using better leg, you have better control of the ball, there is lower chance to make mistake and lose possesion. That's why it matters, coach.

Chech videos on YT or turn on TV to watch Bayern, City, Borussia or Real. Why do you think Ribery is deployed as left winger and Robben as right winger? They are not skillful enough or it really matters if you are left-footed or right-footed?

I genuinely think Nani will be very good for us if he stays fit. Providing we get him of course.

And a reliable crosser adds another dimension to our game, particularly Llorentes
Yes, the biggest question is his health, but if Conte manage to control him and he finds his old form he will become our starter. Maybe, he just needs new enviroment or a new challenge?!

In all fairness to Nani he has 0 motivation these days because 2 successive managers have refused to use him. Even when he was undoubtedly their best winger. He's got no place in the team and the fans don't want him.

So yeah, a move will work wonders.

Agree, that's exactly what I think. But I am worried about his injuries.

this article has just been posted on the bigsoccer forums, but the user didnt put a source on it so take it for what you will:

Manchester United winger Nani's £10million Juventus move blocked by incoming boss Louis van Gaal

The Portugese winger appeared all set for Serie A this summer but the incoming boss could give him a new lease of life at Old Trafford

Louis Van Gaal has blocked Manchester United winger Nani’s summer move to Juventus.

The Italians have been told the £10m deal is on hold as incoming United boss Van Gaal regards him as part of his plans.

Portugese winger Nani, who signed a new deal at Old Trafford last summer, had agreed terms with Juve.

But van Gaal likes wingers and does not want to lose him before he takes charge after the World Cup.

It could be seen as a huge lift for Nani, whose season has been dogged by injuries, lack of form and competition for places.

But Van Gaal, expected to be named this week, is already making his mark at Old Trafford.

Borussia in Turin for Immobile: meeting ended with Juventus, photos and pictures

"The sporting director Zorc, expert marketing strategy-club Ben Runger and the intermediary Petralito reached Turin in the early afternoon . The meeting lasted about an hour and thirty minutes, and it's just finished. Borussia talks with Juventus, which owns 50% of the tag immobile (the other half of the Turin). The German club is convinced that the Bianconeri can fully redeem immobile from Turin, and talk with Marotta. Klopp wants him strongly. Borussia had already knocked at the door of Juventus offered 15 million euro in recent days. Now the deal deepens". - Gdm

Reus is probably close to impossible, so I wonder how much straight cash they'll offer.

They can't afford ready-made WC strikers, and Lewa is gone. So I would imagine Immobile is their first target, perhaps they'll chase somebody like Dzeko if this one fails.
