I'd love to see Tevez and Sanchez on the wings but I'm pretty sure Conte would rather kill himself than use them there. He wants guys like Pepe on the wings.
already happened in CL earlier this season, with mixed results.

Tevez is to slow for the wing, and doesnt want to play there.

Against real, we were hardcountering their build up plan. Tevez and Marchisio went wide only when real had the ball. When we had possession, Tevez went back to his central role.

If you want to play teh fancy 433 with teh wingers and stuff, then they need to be wide when you have the ball. Otherwise the dept you field em for the first place is gone, and you clog the center.

Man, I'd love to see Sanchez here. I wanted him ever since he played for Udine, he was/is such a beast and a perfect player for Conte.

Imagine fielding all of Vidal, Pogba (hopefully), Tevez and Sanchez :tuttosport:

Such a shame we cant afford cuadrado+sanchez without big sales
Indeed, that would be a fap fest.

However, it seems that Barca wants to sign Cuadrado, to take Alves' place in the team.

If we got both Alexis and Cuadrado id rate us on par with the rest of the CL contenders. All the other big teams invest so much that I fear we'd need this € ~45m investment, to sign Alexis and Cuadrado, to be competitive..

We'd have one the strongest line ups, but as a whole team, I wouldn't say. In case one of our winger gets injured we're pretty much 30% weaker.

With our turnover, it would mean 8 other teams are doing something horribly wrong
Dude stop mentioning our turnover, you're starting to sound like Benitez.

You are either good enough or not. They don't give trophies for "best team under 300mln turnover", even if they did Atletico Madrid and Dortmund would be ahead of us.

I will not stop mentionning it. Its quite simple. You cannot directly compete with those teams. Dortmund had a lucky generation, Athletico made a nice semi final.

Why dont you name all the teams that had a good generation and a one time peak ?

For a 4-3-3
Buy : sanchez(25m), nani(12m) , lb- felipe luis/ricardo rodriguez(13m) . menez( free ) = 50m
Sell : vucinic , quag , isla ,motta , deceglie and half of immobile - 25-30m
Not sure if our budget allows us 25m to spend , but if it does we could shape up with something like this.

Sanchez Tevez Nani (menez - llorente -gio )
Pogba Pirlo Vidal ( asamoah-marchiso-padoin)
(felipe luis /ricardo rodriguez)Lb Chiellini Barzagli Lichtsteiner (peluso- ogbonna-bonucci-caceres)
Buffon Storari

We're not gonna lift the trophy anytime soon unless we spend big on the transfer market. We can compete and go far, but I just don't see us going all the way with the players we have right now. Serie A is years behind Premier League and in terms of stadiums we're years behind Bundesliga and La Liga as well.

There is no way we can be CL contenders for next years CL title if we spend just € 30m this summer and sign a trio of say Alexis, Nani, Menez.
