I hate divers with a passion. But i'd still take a quality winger with a shitty attitude because

A) We need them quite badly
B) Conte could probably sort it out if he wants to.

Candreva i'd be ok with if we can get rid of one or two fringe players and a bit of cash. But he should not be an alternative to Cuadrado. Just a rotation upgrade

Sometimes very fast players do look worse divers, plus Cuadrado always tries to avoid contact so jumps over a lot of challenges.

Fair point, but he's still quite often a diver. Even when players make the 'avoiding contact' argument, it often falls apart when they simulate contact and have a go at the reff.

I'd take Nani for the right price, but his fitness issues have been plaguing him for what, 2 years now?

His talent is unquestionable. His fitness & inconsistency are big issues though.

Fuck no! It'd be such a bad move.

Problem is, even those $#@! players i mentionned will cost more than some better players abroad, Cerci will atleast cost 15 mil, Candreva between 12-15 mil and Bonventura for 10-12 mil, you could find better players for similar fees in others leagues, ffs Turan went to ATM for 14 mil..

Callejon and Mertens cost about that figure too.

I hope we make Cuadrado our priority target this Summer. If he's priced ridiculously high i'll understand if we pull out. But we should at least try for him. I dislike his diving antics but apart from that he's everything we need.

Not a lot is needed for Europe. Look at athletico:

Garcia(Adrian)--- Koke(Diego)--- Turan(Rodriguez/Sosa)

Of course we won't be able to get a striker like costa unless immobile turns out to develop very rapidly.
We basically need a good versatile attacking midfielder like Garcia and a pacy creative winger like turan.

That RW, CF and the LW need to match in overall quality of Garcia Costa and Turan for us to know that we have a good enough attack. Players who can do that would help in Europe and help us challenge in Europe.

Our midfield though is 100 times better than athletico which would be a great plus.

Also organisation and mental focus is key for us to compete. I would say 60% relies of mental focus and quality of players and 40% on the formation and style of play.

We need to play high pressing, exiting and determined football not passing centerbacks and long ball to llorente type of football.


for us to siceeed we need to look at examples of success from the past years of champions league and try to improve on that.
