I don't see how Genoa are going to give us their top striker on the cheap on the last day of the window, the move will make no financial sense.

However, as a 4th/5th striker option if we are looking at a typical CF then I can't think of many better.
Fixed. Agreed.Fixed.

Quagliarella to Roma then Roma will sell Borriello to Genoa who, on their turn, will sell Gilardino to Juventus.

From what I understand.

Or Pepe can fill in.

Look I'd like a left back but only Coentrao would improve our left side both offensively and defensively. However it seems Ancelotti has blocked his sale.

Kolarov isn't better than Asamoah in my opinion.

Pepe on the left?

Kolarov would give this team another dimension going forward, so yes he would improve this squad. We could rotate them depending on the opposition.

I think he played there a few times in our first Scudetto winning season once we'd converted to 3-5-2.

I can totally see Conte playing him instead of Llorente.
