You mugs do actually realise that if we invest in decent wing backs, as its a fundamental part of our current formation, we'll get the maximum out of that formation. Stop pussy footing about and look for these players. Asamoah looks like a fish out of water in the final 3rd where we need him the most & some days so too Licht. Jesus christ! Even Padoin when covering the wing back position does a tidy job in the defensive part.

Wouldn't mind if we invested heavily on some (can't believe I'm using this word) Badass wingbacks.

This makes sense too. We have a few options. If we'd buy a good enough LWB Asamoah could fill our CM holes and occasionally play as LWB.

I don't see any good though. Coentrao is the only one I guess. It's easier to buy a CM these days.

And that's the bottom line.
Maybe it's hard for some of you to actually understand what you read, so I will explain this one more time.
They have earned 64M from selling cavani, we have earned a similar amount from the champions league last season.
So why can they spend 85M on one marceto and we can spend "only" 23?

And the fact that Tevez is better than Higuain has nothing to do with my point- we could have and should have bought better players, some more good players to be exact, in this marceto.

Because DeLaurentis is still not paying back the bill on a new stadium, perhaps?
