He's way too predictable though, always doing the same things when he goes to attack. Obviously not his fault, but I think it shows that we should sign another LWB and move him to CM or at least rotate between the positions. He's good enough to challenge Marchisio & Pogba for a spot imo.
Then why play a natural CM who clearly has a problem going forward in such a crucial position in our formation?
I don't have an issue with Asamoah playing there, so maybe Conte sees the same balance I do when Asamoah plays. Defense first is not an alien concept in Serie A. I'm not sure we're struggling for goals enough for it to be a real issue. If the issue is for aesthetics or personal enjoyment then that's another thing.

I would still like us to have a credible attacking alternative to Asamoah, and I think Conte is also looking at that, given the links to Zuniga, Kolarov etc.

I Totaly disagre! Asamoah has some very nice passing from his position to the attackers - many of out attacking displays starts from him! Asamoah can cut inside to, Contreao can only go to the byline! I really cant se what contreao can offer besides better crossing??

- Asamoah is 100 times better defensively - and not much weaker offensively (if he is weaker)

- I understand we may need a backup go WC if Asamoah is to be moved central - but to say contreao fits better than Asamoah in our current style of play is just Crazy!

- I haven't seen one player beat asamoah one on one? The guy has fantastic pace - would like to se that pace en cetral!

People saying Zuniga is better???? OMG! Kolarov i would accept - perhaps cheap , and a fantastic crosser!

We are going to in a likelihood sell DC, so we could still buy Coentrao, also coz in many ways, DC will make up for the cash we spent on Peluso in large part, and open up a position on the roster.

DC's rumored transfer price is at 2.5/3 million. I think that should be enough to bring someone on loan. :p

What do you guys think about Benteke?

He's a beast for Aston Villa so far this season, already scored three goals. I watched some of their games last season, have to say he impressed me.

I finally decide that we probably not going to sign anyone else. Hopefully get to make the selling needed.

De Ceglie heavily linked with Sunderland, Fausto Rossi to La Liga, not sure loan or permanent sale, Quag to Norwich or West Ham. Matri seems to be quiet. Nothing strong on Marrone.
And we still have Motta and Martinez to ship out .

Ziegler left on loan. We probably got some options on Sasuolo players.

So how's Coentrao situation right now? He said publicity he wants to leave Ancelotti confirmed it too but in the end he refused Tottenham?

If we sold DC and Quag/Matri we should move for him.

Di Maria remains a dream :D

Coentrao. In last two season he played in 63 matches, had 1 goal and 3 assists. I would sign "superiore atleto nero" Zuniga any day of the week then that blondey bitch.

It's not like Nipples will sell him to us. If we're sticking to the 3-5-2 it would be good to get Coentrao who probably would be a starter for the LWB option. This way we get Asamoah to compete for the CM and occasionally LWB. Our game is based on the midfield and I think Conte needs to rotate more if we want to ever succeed in CL. To do that we have to raise the quality of our squad because Conte rates squad players like Peluso/Padoin but he won't use them if he's not forced to.
