Christian Eriksen, what say the tuz?

There are rumors Meelan wants him.

Could be the Trequartista we need for a 3-4-1-2. Selling one or 2 players should give us enough money to make an offer.

Last i heard he's in the 10-15m price range. Only one year left in his contract.
Last i read Spurs offered 8m for him.I think this could get done for 10-12m..

Would be great for an alternative formation but he wouldnt be playing much in his 1st year. But for the long term he's worth considering in my opinion.

We have a very talented and promising midfielder in Pogba. We have Vidal who is young and world class. We have Marchisio who is young and very good. Asa is also another very good midfielder with many years ahead of him. We have a very promising Ogbonna in defense and the only senior member we have is Barzagli.

Save up the money and go for one Rooney or Suarez starting the winter. They both have many years left in football and guaranteed world class footballers. We dont need an AMC.

We either need an AMC or Veratti or some other Pirlo replacement who won't be as good as Pirlo either way.

Verratti is going to be out of reach next year either way.We should be seriously considering to change the system next year involving a Trequartista instead of a Regista based formation.

I hope we dont go after Alonso.Would be a stupid short term buy and we'll suffer defensively again with him in the lineup.

Alonso is another player who struggles badly when pressed.

I agree. There are no regista's left who are really worth it. Perhaps someone like Gundogan but he is so far out of our reach that we shouldn't even be considering making a move for him.

Gundogan and verratti are potential world class. Altho the first one is more physical and the latter is more technical.

Spain has some young regista's to. But they arent "brilliant". Just excellent passing skills

Veratti might potentially be world class but he's nowhere near cashing in any of that potential. Gundogan is well on his way though. If we're getting a Pirlo replacement I want the replacement to be an established player, not someone who is potentially good. Especially if we're playing the 3-5-2 where the whole thing needs Pirlo to tick if it's to function properly.

We should have brought Kovacic. I can only hope Merda somehow discard him like Pirlo.
Not as a direct replacement. He is also potentially very good, but playing in Croatia and having one season in Inter where they didn't get European football is hardly an indicator that he is cashing in his potential.

He was Inter's best player and the only one in the second part who looked capable of producing something. Do you remember slalom against us on San Siro? He dribbled past 4-5 our players without even trying too much. He had 40-50 passes per match there when he was starter. The kid has something in him which makes him special. This could be the season for him to shove what he's made of.

Of course he was not Inter's best player, and he does have the potential to do great things. For this particular position in our team I would prefer an established world class player, though. Not someone who's credentials is "dribbled past 4-5 players without even trying too much".

No not just that. He's got good passing, movement, very mobile, he lacks tactical discipline but he's young so plenty of time for that. One of their best players at least. I payed special attention to their games in the second part and the kid really looked like leader already.

As if we have a chance at Gundogan anyway.Verratti is another wet dream as well.

The only one i can think of right now is Hernanes. For that we have to tweak the 3 man midfield a little bit.

Something like DM(Pogba)---Creative CM(Hernanes)-Box to Box Cm(Vidal)..

But this would mean Marchisio would be dropped as long as Vidal is there as he's neither a DM nor a creative CM.

Oh ffs, I forgot I was speaking with a Croat. I swear, Balkan people should be excluded from discussions concerning their own players.

That includes you? :p

No I rarely overrate players from this area. But when someone is good what can you do? If I was overrating I would tell you Radosevic is the new Gatusso, Modric is better than Zidane and so on...

Verratti :

“There’s never been any actual negotiations with Fiorentina,” he told reporters.

“The Viola were only testing the ground. I decided to stay in Paris.

“I wanted to stay with this club and continue with a project that has been enriched with the arrival of players like Cavani and Marquinhos.”

We won't find Pirlo replacement. Pirlo is exceptional just like Del Piero or Nedved. We'll have to change our way of playing that's for sure. I just hope Conte predicted it well about Pirlo he's able to play on the highest level at least this season. Conte by saying we're sticking to the 3-5-2 confirmed it. Without Pirlo 3-5-2 doesn't really work as Conte assumes.

Tbh I don't think we're interested in Eriksen. I think Conte would prefer to get a CF or a winger(RWF) which he was complaining about when Pepe was out.

Definitely includes me! I still think you're overrating the crap out of Kovacic, but time will tell :)
