Just thinking out loud here. But if Juve got cracking on the sales of Matri and possibly Quags.....you think its worth giving Gabbiadini a shot? He looked pretty good at the under 21 champs.

Money we get from those 2 could fund Jovetic cash component. It would give us forwards of: Tevez, Llorente, Jovetic, Vucinic, Giovinco, Gabbiadini

Mercato:

IN: Tevez (12m), Llorente (free), Ogbonna (10m + Immobile), Peluso (4.5m), Asamoah (9m for the other half), Jovetic (18m + Marrone), Kolarov (7m?). TOTAL = ~EU60m

OUT: Matri & Quags (say 16m for both! being pessimistic here), De Ceglie (2m), Ziegler (2m), Melo (5m), Isla (6m for half). TOTAL = ~EU30m.

NET is EU30m or maybe 25m if Marotta got better terms or if we sold half of some of other young prospects etc.

Starting 11: Buffon, Lichsteiner, Barzagli, Chiellini, Kolarov, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Tevez, Llorente, Jovetic. Bench: Storari, Bonucci, Ogbonna, Pogba, Asamoah, Vucinic, Giovinco. Reserves: Rubinho, Caceres, Peluso, Giaccherini, Padoin, Pepe, Gabbiadini

I don't think anyone should get too excited over Gabbiadini at the U21 tournament, he didn't (couldn't?) make much of an impression despite a nice goal or two. It also looks like he's gone to Sampdoria for the season, better for the player to build up appearances as a striker in Serie A to see his value.

I guess after the Ogbonna deal,Marotta we'll start the sellings(i hope we manage to sell some of the dead wood!!),and simultaneously keep on pressing on Viola for Jojo.
