Bastian Oczipka was tearing shit apart in the first half of the season, but he wasn't very noticeable later. He's still a decent player, not sure if he would improve our current squad though.

at least inui, trapp, jung and rode had an excellent season. especially rode, but as i said: bayern bound.
i can´t image who we are after because we are kinda covered at those players positions but frankfurt certainly have some quite interesting and talented players...

Yes, I do. He played a great season with Frankfurt and he attracted a lot of interest from plenty of clubs from Bundesliga and Serie A and that he had a buyout-clause of 2.5m€ for this summer really made it complicated for Frankfurt to keep him. He had the free choice and Schalke e.g. would have been a very good destination imo, but he decided to stay and to remove the clause and extended his contract until 2015 so next year we will probably see his name in the rumour mill again.

He is a very grounded lad who works hard and is very dynamic. He is great in defense with good tackling and positioning..there was rarely trouble on his side and he is going forward whenever possible but also chasing back when necessary..very disciplined. He is fast and his crossings are decent so all in all I would say he offers a good package and will stay highly coveted by Schalke, Leverkusen and Wolfsburg and obviously some Italian clubs keeping an eye on him too..havent seen rumours of Juventus though.
