Half of those were never realistic targets in the past. Meanwhile getting linked to Floro Flores, Diamanti, Dominguez, Gilardino, Pazzo, were always what we were most linked to(quality-wise) along with many other players not worthy of wearing the Juve jersey. Now Higgy and whomever are more realistic because of what we have accomplished and won in the past 2 seasons. But its also very realistic that an oil club will come in with a better bid and wages.

Don't forget Tevez is on EU10m a year. He would have to take at least a 40-50% pay cut. That's why Monaco is a much more realistic destination for him. The transfer fee is relatively immaterial when you look at his total cost over a 3 year contract.
