Maybe he doesn't want to go one of those clubs again and be fighting for playing time with so many other high profile forwards...

He would be a guaranteed starter here easily.
If he goes to Monaco he will be a starter for sure. Hell, even if he goes to PSG he will be a starter and they will sell somebody. He wouldn't consider bench at any club at this point and he can be a starter easily at many clubs.

PsG is possible, depending on who the next coach there is. I think he's already linked with Monaco but he has turned that move down coz he's more interested in Juve's offer if rumors are to be believed. Also let's not forget, Mancini is being considered by both those teams.

Argentina is also realistic, but when you see that he's only 29 years, that kind of move can wait, especially considering he will still get to play in the CL and the world cup is coming up next year. Tevez is too big a player to shorten his career prospects just yet. Maybe in 2-3 years, Argentina can see out his playing days or lack of ambition, but for now, a challenge like Juve would be very tempting. Let's see. Although if we could snap him up, I think the team would be suitably reinforced not just for Serie a, but more importantly, Europe too.
And of course that's not true (sadly). IMO it just looks like another media bullshit who comes up with a random name and link him with us.

I don't think age is the right way to go, because he openly said it a couple of years ago how he wants to go back to Argentina and play there. Also, it's not like Serie A is farting rainbows at the moment, it's not even a big challenge.

Actually, I can't think of one thing that would lead him here.

Tevez-Higuain. Uff.
Seriously, stop dreaming. There's no way that could happen.

Llorente is going to be in the starting XI, like it or not. And we're not going to pull TWO big moves (one might be Jovetic if we sign two, but that's only because we'd include some player). But both Higuain and Tevez? ...

I wouldn't ruled out Higuain/Jojo/Nani/Robben/Ljajic/whoever else Conte has in mind even if Tevez came.

Tevez-Higuain. Uff.
That would surprise me... I think Jovetic would be the best addition from that list, although chemistry between Tevez-Higuain :tuttosport:

Depends if they sign Falcao and the like. Start over Ibra? Not so sure about that. I guess maybe RW/RAM.

Think about it. He's been crying about Argentina for two seasons now, even went there and came back. Why do you think he hasn't gone yet? That, despite the fact that he's not even a sure starter at City and nor did he have the best relationship with Mancini. It's coz he knows his career in Europe is as good as done of he moves now.

That feeling won't change right now, if a club like Juve come knocking. There is no way he won't be tempted. Our profile is closer to what it used to be, he's going to have a sure shot starting spot, play in the CL, and I think very importantly be in Italy which South Americans prefer to England. It's not out of the realms of possibility IMO. Even for us, it's a stellar deal. Under 20m, 7m plus bonuses. 29, with at least 3 more years of WC quality.

Considering Tevez could be bought for under 20m, without a make weight and Vucinic/Quag/Matri could be sold, are you saying we couldn't raise another 20m to buy Higuain? It may not happen, but seeing us working on multiple fronts so early on I think we are after two big names this summer. I can see Tevez/Nani come through too.

Because City didn't want to let him go back then and he was angry.

I know what you mean. But many teams will bid IMO.

We'll see. To me it's most unrealistic transfer. The only thing that makes me think of him coming here now would be that he's 29yo, fading star, those usually come to Italy.

Their forward would be Falcao - Tevez, easy.

I honestly don't think he's going to want to go from not winning much in england to not winning much in France. :D Despite that amazing forward line, Monaco don't have much else to offer, and PsG is going to be the club to beat in Ligue 1 for a bit yet. Unless there are some insane wages at stake, it doesn't seem like a deal that'll tempted a 29 year old who could be motivated by a shot at glory in the CL, in a country he may adapt better with. May not happen but I wouldn't say it's impossible.
