You know what, bud? He's earned it. Really, really impressed with the way he came in after the contract situation, and buckled down hard. Huge leap in maturity this year, you must be amped to know you've got a top 5 D man for many, many years to come.
The type of quality he has, the type of jump that he's made, it makes me excited to see how Malcolm's development will play out over the next couple of years.

He did struggle at the juniors, but the quality is there; it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't arrive in Boston for another 3-4 years. Luckily, we've got a keeper with 2Us & 2Ks, who's young and pretty decent himself!
