Honda would be cool, though too injury prone. But he isnt really a winger, overall excellent attacking midfielder. Lol no thanks to Malouda.

I don't know much about Honda but I hear very good things about him and he is going to be FREE on a bosman. Man United and Liverpool were looking at him. So his wages may not be cheap.

But Honda and one great striker in itself would be a good transfer campaign.

Honda in a kind of Hernanes role for free is not the worst transfer ever, but he's not even close to being good enough to change a system for, not in my opinion.

Lisandro, Milito, Mario Gomez, Higuain, Falcao, Sanchez, Rooney, Chicarito, Cavani, Suarez, Dzeko, Tevez, Jovetic, Neymar could all be on the market this summer if I haven't missed anyone. Mancity (2), United (1), Arsenal (1), Madrid (2), Liverpool (1), Chelsea (1), Juventus (1), Barca (1), Inter (1).

Thats 12 top strikers of variant skills and age for sale and 11 on demand. Marotta can't screw up this time.

Honda will be free in December, would be nice if we get him. We could try a kind of 3-4-1-2 with him when Pirlo needs rest, and put Vidal and Pobga in the mid to get enough deffensive cover :)

He's still quite young, about to turn 27.

Another player who's contract is expiring is Amorebieta. Pizarro :shifty:, Weiss, Douglas,

This team can't be world class if it doesn't have a world class finisher or attacking prospect.

I don't really care who we buy. But whoever is bought needs to bring us some identity up front. Someone who's unpredictable and the opposition in Europe will fear. Otherwise our European campaign will end as it did this year.

If our board and managers do not realize this. How are we ever going to become one of the top teams in Europe again?

I don't know of any other top team in Europe without a world class attacking talent. It got us to the round of 8 this time, maybe next time we'll not even pass the group stages because we can't score goals. I believe Conte knows this and up to this point has played to his teams' utmost potential. But he won't settle for a Juve as underdogs in Europe for much longer, and we're going to stay as underdogs without the Suarez's, Zlatan's and Cavani's.

I can just imagine where we'd be if Conte had 1-2 world class attacking talents. This team could go all the way. But it won't if our market this summer consists of capturing Bonaventura and Diamanti. In my opinion spending world class amounts of cash on Di Maria and Higuain will not fix anything. We need players who can change games on their own, someone who'll pin the opposition back because they fear our counter-attacking speed and clinicality. In my mind the player who brings this is Luis Suarez. And we should put all of our efforts into getting him.

fellas, what do you think about Jackson Martinez? looks talented.
The weirdest thing is that he used to play here on Mexico on a shitty team, he always was praised by the media and all that, but honestly I never thought he would cut it on Europe. Yes he's talented. I'm sure that most of the people would have laughed about his signing.

He was quite injury prone here tho. But when in form, his team used to look like 10 times better.
