Guys, you are looking at the wrong side anyway :D. Conte wants vice-Chiellini or someone to fight for place with Asamoah. We are interested in Lulic, what's more Lazio is interested in Matri and Quagliarella.

Ibra, Diamanti, Lulic - sounds good to me

He´s that bad at defending? Can't recall him making many mistakes when facing us but don't watch Lazio often.
They where defending in numbers, and we all know how "fantastic" our attack is when dealing with parked bus.So he looked okay there. For Juve standards he is awful in defence, for Lazio or Fiorentina he is okay.

I can't even think of many good LWB at the moment. Bale could fill up that position, but there's no way we can even bid for him. As for the others the only decent option would be Adriano probably. But what other choices :boh:

Exactly why a lot of people are going to be disappointed come September, same thing over and over. A million names linked, hopes built, then reality strikes.

How do you know that we do have money?
We have e money for what? One quality upgrade? If we don't have the money to buy one quality player, the board should resign. You'd have to be pretty daft to think otherwise. I never said 70m. More like 25m plus sales given that we're coming off a fairly successful domestic campaign and a CL quarterfinal exit.

Coentrao - Reports saying Real is going to sell him for 18-20mil.

Numbers are sometimes stupid. Statistics are like mini skirts, hide the most important things.

Looking at that you'd say he's better than Ronaldo, which is rather idiotic.

Coentrao - Reports saying Real is going to sell him for 18-20mil.
He's a brilliant player. They paid so much for him, though, and they have Marcelo. So,

1) I don't think they are willing to sell him
2) All of the top clubs will bid for him surely, from Manchester City (surely) to PSG

So IMO we don't stand a chance, not even the slightest one.

Would you admittedly be disappointed if we didn't make at least one quality signing? This mercato is very different from the previous two under Marrotta's reign, for the simple reason, that depth was a legit excuse. We have passed that stage, and the only way this team can take things up a notch is with a bit of quality. Ibra, Lulic and maybe even Nani if we sacrifice a player is not something I'd consider unrealistic. We should be expecting that level at the very least IMO.

If only we had Moggi to sign players with the unlimited funds we don't have
Moggi didn't have unlimited funds in his time either. In fact Juve was a self sustaining entity.

I'd certainly be disappointed if we didn't improve our attacking third. I take into account the signing of Llorente also.

Nani I see as a real possibility if we are interested, he's out of favour there and has one year left.

Any of the Ibra/Higuain/Sanchez/Jovetic etc deals are always difficult, it's the most difficult transfer to make for a club in our position (money to pay a market fee and salary, but not beyond that). Those are often settle by details. As I said some time before, we need our targets to not be chased by money clubs.

Ibrahimovic seems like a possibility, but I don't see any long term thinking in signing him and Diamanti plus a Lulic type player. That looks very short term, in two years we might be trying to sign a quality forward again.
