But aren't Real famous for letting go of their stars on bargain prices when they fail/do a house cleaning?

I think they'll sell him for 20mil (if they deem him an excess that is) and about the wage thingy, maybe if we don't waste our money on duds like Diamanti and sell Matri, Quag and take them from the wage bill, it becomes affordable.

Of course. There will be departures this summer as it always happens in RM when the new coach comes. We should look out as there will be some interesting opportunities.

Marotta needs to show a better ability to sell. We have never been able to sell at a reasonable price under his reign and as a result, it has impacted our funds available for the big purchases.

I think that both Quagliarella and Matri need to go. Giovinco could also leave but I see Conte giving him 1 more season. Llorente arrives but Bendtner and Anelka leave. That leaves us with Giovinco, Vucinic, and Llorente. At the start of the season, we had 5 attackers so that means we can go for 2 names with at least one of them big. Suarez and Ibrahimovic would be the dream - 2 world class players that would guarantee to make a difference.

In terms of transfer fees, my guess is that it is POSSIBLE we could get Suarez for around 30m and Ibra for 20m. Thats a lot. If Marotta can sell Quags and Matri for 15m combined and sell our half of Isla for 7m, that would be over 20m in proceeds. 30m net on players is doable for us without touching the rest of the team.

Wages is a different story though. Llorente, Ibra and Suarez would have much higher salaries than the players they would replace. My guess is they would be at least 3m more each in net terms or 18m in gross dollars. But our revenues should be up by more than 18m and those star players would aslo attract a lot of revenue.

I know it sounds far fetched but if Juve got BOTH Suarez and Ibra, Juve would be making a huge leap up in class and it is doable if Marotta is able to sell players! A front pairing of Ibra/Llorente and Suarez/Vucinic/Giovinco.

Easier said than done. Market dictates the prices and when certain player isn't performing well or has few number of appearances you can't expect to get significant amount for him.

Ibra is probably a done deal. From what I hear in Italian media he's pushing PSG really hard. It seems inevitable that he'll join. It remains to be seen how he will work upfront with Llorente as I can't see neither of them as subs. it would be ridiculous to pay someone 4-5M just to sit on the bench.

He never liked EPL. And apparently he is an admirer of Conte and his work. We are on the way up again and he's been bored in France.
Beside quality his signing would bring us more commercial revenues. Sale of shirts would increase rapidly and would probably in few years offset the costs of fee and wages.

So Mou and Falcao off to Chelsea. It seems there will be a lot of changes this summer which could only benefit us if we have some decent money in our pocket. Some changes will be made in Madrid and probably PSG if Ancelotti goes to RM. Barca's director already said they will sell a few players. They probably will get Neymar. Some players may leave Chelsea when Mou arrives.

I'm happy we're linked with so many RW. Finally 4-3-3 :D I've asked for it way too long xD
How do see us playing 4-3-3 if we"ll have Ibra & Llorente...i doubt Llorente coming to be a sub...

i would love us to play 4-3-3 but 3-5-2 or
4-2-3-1/4-3-1-2 seems more likely according to Ibra and Diamanti moves.

Exactly.
i think with 4-2-3-1

RW-Ibra-Sanchez/Mirko
Llorente

or 4-3-1-2
Diamanti?
Ibra-Llorente

seems more likely.
I also doubt Llorente will be a bench player.

Llorente is supposedly an improvement over quag and matri. If ibra were to come i think contr would either play ibra as a lone striker allowing vidal and marchisio to get forward and score more or play a 3-5-2 with both llorente and ibra
