Should've got this guy while he was at Metallist, with the right atmosphere for growth and in normal conditions he would easily become a top player. But now he moved to shaktar for 12 million to substitute Willian so dont see him leaving soon or for less than 20 mil

Forgot to say who it was lol.... Taison...

Thats what I mean we should be getting this players early...We should be only aqcuiring two types of players: WC (altough obviously rarely); and prospects of WC. And then stick to primavera or market opportunities... I am from Portugal (support Sporting Lisbon), and this is the strategy of F.c Porto (without the WC part lol), which in my opinion, and not far from factually too, has been one if not the most profitable clubs in terms of sales. This guys get prospects for around 9 mil and sell the next season for 40, time and time again, Benfica is following the same startegy now, just look: David Luiz (around 30), Coentrao (20 something), Witsel (40), Hulk (55), Falcao (40), Javi Garcia (20), Ramires (20 something) and its a matter of time until Moutinho, Alex Sandro, Danilo, James follow the same path. All of this in the space of two years!! Now I know what you are going to say, "but juve is not a selling club", off course we are not, so lets buy and groom our on Cavanis and Falcaos instead of having to buy them years later for 40 mil. Moral of the story: Dont be a affraid to splash 4 to 9 mil on prospects and more important than that look beyond the Seria A cause it feels like we are just considering the domestic market with the excuse "oh south american wont adapt" i prefer to take that risk than having me a Quagliarella which i know for certain wont exceed a certain level.

On purpose bro :) As good as he may be, I think he's going to struggle in this team, and league. And it would be a successful season for him if he can get over 12 goals over the course of it.

Ibra seemingly does look like he'd be happy to be back in Italy. But I just don't see how Conte could integrate a player like him into the kind of squad that he's built here. One, that focusses on its strength as a unit rather than rely on individuals. How good would it be fr the dressing room. I'm not so sure Conte is someone who can deal with or tolerate a political player without falling out with him. It also seems like we are going to go hard in for Jojo by sacrificing someone of the like of Gio and Marrone. An attack that looks like Ibra, JoJo, Llorente, Vucinic, Quag/Matri/Belfodil/Bony/Immobile is a lot closer to where we should be.

Juventus are reportedly setting their sights on ‘new Didier Drogba’ Wilfried Bony, currently starring for Vitesse.

The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international has been a huge success in the Eredivisie, finding the net 23 times in 24 games.

Tuttosport claim this morning that the Bianconeri are preparing a summer swoop for Bony.

They face competition from several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Newcastle United.

From Tuttosport though.

Perhaps Eredivisie watchers can tell us a bit more about him.
