    People not wanting Sanchez. :howler:

When we were linked with him a year ago everyone was going nuts. He failed at Barca? Yeah well, forwards in Barca a rarely a success and will not become successful as long as Messi is playing in that system. I'm not surprised that Sanchez didn't succeed, they're using him as a marginal player and expecting him to score goals, he has no creative burden while playing. It plays to none of his strenghts-

In a team like Juve where more of the game would be focused on him, since he would be one of the stars, I would expect him to play like he did at Udinese - which was mind blowing.

Jovetic... I think he's worth 15-20mil max. There is no way he is worth 30mil. I think he'd do well with Conte's discipline in training. He seems a little lazy at times. Especially in away fixtures. But with Juve he might maximize that potential that was so apparent when he started the season in such great form.

He's not a lazy ass, he runs a lot. Today he was not noticeable obviously cause of our dominant play. And it's always wrong to judge a player based on one match (like everyone fell in love for Amauri when he rapped us).

    He's quality.

As Giovinco and Vucinic will stay anyway, a new forward should be able to offer smth they cant, in order to complement them.
What they lack the most is the finishing.
Llorente will complement that, so they can focus at what they do best, creating chances.
This will help be them perform better than they do now, because now they are forced to do smth they are not good at.
So, for this reason they already good enough creativity skills, will become even more obvious and fine tuned.

Having one of them at the bench at all times, will be quite a luxury.
Why bench them both, just to buy a new SS?

By requesting a new starter SS, you demand of them to be benched and start with an all new forward line next year.
There are many reasons this unwise.
We should be invest elsewhere, or if we are to buy a new forward, that should be another finisher so that we can roate 2 SSs and 2 CFs.

Oh I think he's quality too. I didn't mean he's lazy all the time. Only that I've watched a few of their away games this year, and he just seems to be lacking a step in them. Not sure why. I don't think he's worth 30 mil right now. Maybe 20 max. If he came to Juventus and took to Conte's discipline he'd be worth 30-40 in about 2 years imo.

Don't we have two CFs for next year? Matri and Llorente? Matri can be frustrating at times, but his off-ball movement is superb, so even when he's not scoring our attack is way more dangerous as he pulls defenders freeing up space for our mids. I wouldn't sell him. I'd like some kind of hybrid type that can play a mix of SS and CF.

Neither we can rely on Llorente alone,(injuries suspensions could always happen) it would be wiser to see if he flops or not, before getting another expensive forward.
If he flops and we invest 30mil lets say on Alexis, we will have 3 great SSs (Sancthez, Vucinic, Giovinco) and again a compromised CF for a starter.
And it will be so much harder to raise another 30mil to get yet another forward next year...

Another CF would bring a lesser risk, as in the worst case scenario, we will be having two 3 great forwards and one flop, but one of those 3 will be a CF, so we can deploy a great CF+SS duo for most of the matches.

Suarez would be a great hybrid solution though, as he can both create and kill.

Yeah. Good points. Suarez would be ideal, but unattainable it seems. What about Lewandowski? Or Jackson Martinez? Both not crazy expensive and upgrades over Llorente and Matri IMO. I think Llorente isn't much better than Matri. If Conte hadn't preferred Borriello to Matri last season for some crazy reason, Matri would have scored 15-18. This season, he just had no confidence from that, and then his lack of regular playing time to start the season. But I think Matri is a 15-20 man with regular playing time, and Llorente a 20+- one or two at best. Jackson Martinez has 18 already for Porto this year.

First we should buy the players we need instantly- If we stay with 3-5-2, we shall get Jovetic/Sanchez and a LM/LWB (40-45 million). If we change to 4-3-3, we shall get both Jovetic and Sanchez/Robben for the wings and Obiang for backup (60-65 million, but we can sell few more players so it's nearly even).
    Both are totally possible.

    -------------------Buffon-----------------------
    ----Bazargli------Bonucci-----Chiellini--------
    Licht----Vidal----Pirlo----Marchisio---Kolarov(?)
    ------------Sanchez/Jovetic--Llorente--------

Bench: Storari, Peluso, Marrone, Pogba, Asamoah, Giovinco, Vucinic

    OR:
    -----------------Buffon---------------------
    Lict-----Bazargli--------Chiellini-------Asamoah
    -----Vidal--------Pirlo-----------Marchisio---
    Sanchez/Robben---------------------Jovetic
    ---------------Llorente----------------------

Bench: Storari, Bonucci, Peluso, Obiang, Pogba, Vucinic, Matri
jesus fucking christ what abomination is this

    asamoah, is not a fullback
robben, is injuryprone beyond belief, would cost us money beyond comprehending, and will not want to earn less at bayern. also bayeren is much higher reputation at us.
Sanchez ? barcelona will not sell under 30 mil and we arent looking for a wide attacker. he's also been a big dissapointment at an offensive team good at pressing, wich technically is also what we do. Sanchez would be a horrible signing

Jovetic, if we sign him, big if, our entire summer budged is gone.

Kolarov ? better then asamoah ? seriously get the fuck out
