Perhaps Suarez would be possible if we look at the options of selling...........

I'm too much of a pussy to write a name but people can think of players we could sell to make Suarez a possibility
out :
vidal 40m
quaq-giovinco 20-25m
other deadwoods like melo, iaq, padoin 10-15m
in :
jovetic, sanchez / suarez, muriel

ddts please.

Selling Vidal :howler:

Why do we need Jovetic, Muriel, and one of Sanchez or Suarez?! :boh:
:disagree: the disadvantage from losing vidal is much smaller than the advantage gained from getting jovetic & sanchez or suarez & muriel

only stupid fans who can't see that.

why do we need them? just because so that beppecimus marottus can go super saiyan after ddts :shifty:

No. The stupid fans are the ones that want to stack an entire department. You can't buy 3 or 4 attackers in one summer. It's going to take them time to gel, get accustomed to the system, etc... This is not Football Manager FFS! You can't restart when you lose a game.

We've already acquired Llorente, and we only need one more SS to complement Llorente in attack. Once that is accomplished, we can keep Matri and Vucinic as bench options, with Vucinic being the ace in the pack/an impact sub, and add a youngster to complete the attacking quintet, as I mentioned in another thread.

Selling Vidal would only serve to weaken us, and greatly strengthen a European rival. A dumb move by all accounts.

how sad isn't it? we stuck with beppecimus marottus.
Somehow Marotta reminds me an officer Barbrady from the South Park cartoon. He always says something like "ok people, there are no top strikers available for free now, we will evaluate the offers, we've got an excellent squad, there's nothing to see here, go home!!"

Because selling Vidal would automatically mean we can get Jovetic and Sanchez. And why would we need two SS's who aren't exactly known for their finishing?

:howler:

Signing Sanchez or Jovetic and keeping Vidal is better then selling Vidal and signing Suarez.

BUT.

Suarez is probably the best striker we could possibly sign - and if an alternative to Vidal is there it wouldn't mean a world of difference.. Vidal is vital but we lack world class up front - signing Suarez would mean a downgrade of the midfield but an incredible upgrade of the attack. It's not a plan, just a thought so take it easy!!

Then we go with plan B: JoJo or Sanchez. We wouldn't need to sacrifice any of our top players in defence or midfield for that to happen ;)
That's true. But the idea builds on the fact that Suarez is on a totally different level then both Jovetic and Sanchez. IMO only Sanchez will ever become the player Suarez is..

Suarez would become serie a top scorer
Jovetic never will
Sanchez could

See the logics?
