Marrotta when asked about the incoming market after the SuperCoppa replied that we are ready to seize all opportunities. I feel there will be a couple more arrivals, with sales all of this week and early next week. Isla, Matri, Quag, PdC, Ziegler, Motta, Marrone? etc to raise about 25-30m for a final assault on some targets. Zuniga/Kolarov/Biabiany, Diamanti. Not saying its these guys specifically but you never know. On another note, Marrotta wants Kondogbia. It's on TJ.

Different players though, characteristically. He probably wants to reunite him with Pogba, and set them up like they play in the French national team. If he comes, I could see us change formations. (in the future, post Pirlo)

I don't think he'll sustain a starting spot if we do end up buying another CM. At the same time he's Juve through and through he could choose to stay anyhow.

Its a stupidly good group of players for 3 positions. I think we would make one more purchase only and I rection that will be a lwb. Spending 20M on players isn't Marotta's style. I can see us moving for Alonso on another Bosman next summer that would be even though Veratti seems ideal.

Alonso would be a great 'replacement' for Pirlo if he leaves or retires after this season. He would really be beast here. I think Verratti will come back to Italy eventually, maybe to us but maybe not for a couple more years still.

I prefer Pogba playing in the other midfield roles where he has more freedom to get forward
