@Mark
A somewhat amusing twitter argument I had the other day. Followers of this Serie A twitter account were asked to rate team's mercatos to this point, A to F grading system....

Probably a goal.com commenter?

What do you guys predict our turnover will be next year?

This year we should have a turnover of around 280 million. I don't know how much better we will do next year. First we have the same shitty collective TV deal. I guess Milan will make the CL so the CL market pool for Italy will be split in three not two like last season. This means less CL money for us. We have the same shitty sponsorship deal so no change there. I don't know how much ticket prices will change. Were this year's season ticket prices drastically different than last year's? Maybe merchandising will do better because of Tevez. I think we will post similar results next year.

2011/2012 : 197
2012/2013 : 270 (includes CL)
2013/2014 : ??(i think 280-300)

Looking at 65 total income from CL.

So our non CL related turnover would be 205.

This means, 8 mil more thanks to pure growth (and increased ticket prices)

Quags and Matri seem to be getting decent interest from Premier League teams - we could average >EU10m each. I know this is unlikely, but if we managed to sell BOTH, we would have room to use those funds for another top quality striker worth 20-25m.
