what because Pirlo didn't show up in a 2 legged CL match against bayern he's not world class nor a leader? I guess you could apply that same logic to the likes of Buffon and Chiellini too.

He was over used last season. If Conte gives him a rest now and then Pirlo can still make a difference.

Pirlo is fantastic, but come on guys! Pirlo is not 28 anymore - and you can se that he is strugling against aggresive fast players! Against Japen the other day he lost the ball in dangerous positions many times, against better opponent this means goals!

He is playing slow, and allways looking for the killer pas, he has fantastic vision - but in my oponion we are better with Asamoah Pogba Vidal! There is everything a midfield need with those! We may not have a player with pirlos vision, but we have speed and strenght!

agree. but no one told that pirlo is guilty or something, he just can't deliver week to week WC performances, especially against WC sides, he just gets lost. physics...

This is worrisome because in top tier games...teams know our game will alwasy past thru him...and you just need a physycally strong man marker who can bother him all day long.... and his other CM will have a field day counterattacking and pressing us.

This is something we have to take into account and a more overall stronger midfield like pogba-march-vidal, or pogba-vidal-anyone---- should be used in case the game starts going like this. Take out Pirlo and switch gameplan ASAP-
