“If I leave Florence, then I’d like to stay in Italy, as I am happy here."

- Jovetic

Go crazy boys. Since we're the only non-retarded choice for him in Italy we should take it as Jovetic flirting with us.

if you read some of the excuses people have come up with for not wanting Drogba you will understand
Tbh, i understand marrotta

He and probably conte aswel, think he is a good patch for the remainder of this season, but it would be to much for the next season aswel, considering his age, and Llorente.

Currently we are sitting withµ

-vucinic (ss)
-giovinco (ss/w)
-quagliarella (ss/(cf)
)

-matri (st)
-bendtner (st)

The first two have proven usefull, the other two are simply deadweight, only used because of the need of their type of player. this means we effectively have 3 usefull players for two spots and none are archetype strikers. thats not good
Getting drogba for the reminder of the season would give us a striker thats at least at the level of our supports. 4 forwards is ideal, our roster would be

-vucinic (ss)
-giovinco (ss/w)
-quagliarella (ss/(cf))

-Drogba (st/cf)

-matri (st)
-bendtner (cf/st)

On the other hand, its 6 forwards, thats pushing it. and getting rid of nonperforming players isnt quite an easy task. drogba is also getting pretty old next year, and he still is on a considerable wage.

Bendtner will go. Matri, perhaps if we can sell. Drogba's loan finishing. Llorente will be purchased.

roster would be

-vucinic (ss)
-giovinco (ss/w)
-quagliarella (ss/(cf))

-Llorente (cf/st)

-matri / promising player

This is a good roster. 4 quality players. 1 quality striker. getting both llorente and drogba would be quite the drag on our finances, and drogba is going to be in decline. more then he is now.
One can argue 4 strikers isnt much, but its not certain we'll manage to sell matri. if we do, i can see us getting a talent or perhaps an interesting summer deal if one comes up.

so there are people who don't want sanchez but there are people who want to see the likes of Bendtner play more or if he fails Matri and if he fails Quags etc.... Holy fuck
We need a striker who can score goals. Let me repeat: STRIKER WHO CAN SCORE GOALS.
Sanchez is a SS in a 3-5-2 and we already have Gio and Vucinic for that place. Yes, Sanchez would be an upgrade, but we should take care of the positions that desperately need upgrading first (striker and left back). If we got two good players for those positions, then I think Sanchez would be a good player for the team, but we shouldn't buy players we basically don't need when there are more important positions to think of.

Furthermore, your Bendtner comparison is both idiotic and unnecessary. Sanchez wouldn't be a replacement for Bendtner or Matri. Basically nobody on the forum wanted Bendtner, but guess what, shit happens. However, the solution is not to replace Bendtner with Sanchez (who also have a big goal scoring problem).

See, that jojo rumor is exactly why both drogba and Llorente would be a bad idea.

We would have to much attackers, using to much wage, to justify another purchase

With only vucinic, giovinco, quag, llorente, and still not much budged used apart from the wage of llorente, we could go with a serious offer for jojo

sorry badass, but foeller is right here. while sanchez is a very good player, we need that central player first.

On the other hand, if we have llorente, and kick bendtner back to epl, and hopefull manage to offload matri..

there are possibilities...

Sanchez for a good price, and play 4-3-3 (vucinic-llorente-sanchez)
jovetic for a good price ?

Llorente first, then see what the market offers
