Where is our brazilian friend Pedro, the 18 year old Il nuevo Maicon RB he "scouted" for ze forum, Wallace, has as expected signed for Chelsea.
Yes.

They payed around 5/6m euro for 60% of his economic rights.

I think he's joining Chelsea in january already.

The kid has great upside. BUT he's not ready to play in the big scene yet. He should be loaned this season to gain experience. But he's got the perfect assets for the British game: speed, acceleration, strength, good crossing.

It could take 1 or 5 years, but I believe he'll become a worldclass RB. Not any kind of phenomenon. But these days any solid full back playing for a great club is worldclass in view of the very low level at the position worldwide.

I don't know if you've heard about this name: Brazilian youngster DORIA. 18yr old (recently completed), plays for Botafogo.

There are many news linking this player to Juve.

And it makes sense, since Lucio is leaving in January.

I've seen this kid play a handful of times. At first sight he's got it all. Tall, strong, quick, good concentration level, composed, plays safe, decent technique, good passing, good heading.

He looks good, but against my team Fluminense he commited a positioning mistake that led to a goal. But it's one of those mistakes you don't realise if you don't pay good attention to the player. He was still 17 at that time.

This guy, with 17 yrs old, simply came out of nothing and won the position at Botafogo, which has a good team and solid and more experienced CBs. He just came out of nothing, won the position and never let it go.

Summing it up, looks like a very good investment. Every Brazilian player is expensive nowadays, but the kid just arrived in the big picture andBotafogo is a poor club compared to others. I don't know the amount of money, but this guy looks like a very solid and reliable CB for the next 10 years and more. Ready to play with the big boys. I don't know what's his ceilling though. Could be WC, could be very good, could be only solid. But it's good anyway.

And it shows that scouts are really following stuff. He just appeared here, nobody is really talking about him yet.

talk to me about Ademilson of Sao Paulo and Bruno Mendes of Botafogo.
I haven't seen much of Ademilson. But the little I've seen I liked it. 18 yr old classic CF. He's very fast, strong, but a little bit shorter than usual for this position. Can also play on the wing. Can dribble, has a knack for the goal. Replaced Luis Fabiano very well in Sao Paulo during a short spell in the Brasileirao. Scored a few goals. He looks promising, but not really special.

Bruno Mendes is the real deal. The kid is almost a phenomenon here. He's not been talked much because he plays for Botafogo. But he's been absolutely incredible. Arrived from Guarani at the end of the Brasileirao. A 17yr old boy. The kid is a very very classic CF. They compare him to Careca here. Tall enough (1.84), elegant, great movement coordination, intelligente, great finishing with both legs, huge knack for the goal. Scored like 7 goals in 8 matches of stg like that. An instant hit.

He belongs to a group of agents. He is not very famous in Brazil right now. I'd advise to buy him ASAP. His price will skyrocket next year for sure. I can see this kid even playing in the starting team of Brazil in 2014.

Provided that we win the Scudetto and get to 1/4 finals of the CL, who can we realistically get in the summer from that list:
    Llorente
    Dzeko
    Pato
    Cavani
    Jovetic
    Chicharito
    Higuain
    Adebayor
    Villa
    edit: and Lewandowski
