well, considering 3-5-2

you need a commanding centreback and one that can play the ball from the back among those 3

currently bonbon is the ballplaying one, and we also got marrone he did great so far, but i suppose his pure defensive skills need to improve alot to challenge bonbon.
Barzagli is the commanding one, but seems a bit uncertain in a 3 man backline. He showed how much we need a leader of the defence at the back last season tho, as both chiellini and bonucci cant lead a backline.

For this reason, we should seek for a commanding centreback, a leader of the defence.

If possible, pretty good in the air cause that clearly seems to be out current weakness, apart from barzagli not doing to well in 3man backline

striker ? i'd wanna see how vucinic-giovinco evolve. they have shown some pretty good things, despite the short time they have played togheter
But it offcourse wouldnt hurt to get a natural striker that has some composure and finishing skills.

Benatia is a very good CB and he currently plays in a 3 man backline. Would be a great fit for us IMO.

What do you guys think about Danilo of Udinese? He's not talked about like Benatia and others a lot but but does his job. We're interested according to some media.

He's okay, but, playing in the middle of the back three, he doesn't seem to have the footballing ability that Conte appears to want for that role.

I'm also not convinced he is mobile enough to play on the side of the back three.

It's not the most attacking formation ever but if the defense is in good form like end of last season it looks practically unbeatable.

In January I could see us getting Llorente(if not then for free in the summer) and Peluso.

In July we bring back Immobile and sign a CB like Hummels, Benatia or Danilo, Höwedes...and of course more youngsters.

Sounds like a plan, even if Peluso is hardly a step up in quality.
