On euro2012 spain was playing without CF. Maybe that is main reason why Mirko-Gio is our starting attack line. If that is the plan we need attacking midfielders-wings and SS(isla, asamoah, gio done) main targets next mercato JoJo, Sanchez and similar.

Yep. Without a strong ball-playing midfield, we'll be relegated to parking the bus in big CL matches and **** that. My nightmare is the last half of the Milan-Barca tie last season. Milan had to chase a goal and for 45 mins they couldn't even get out their half, and played long ball, even with the best CF in the world.
35m for Isla-Asa>>Dzeko or Lorente.

guys who would u rather have marchisio who's reaching his peak or gerrard in his peak and why?. I would say if i was building a team id build it around gerrard but if i had an allready complete midfield i would add marchisio because technically he is better

Marchisio is not better than Gerrard. I don't think he'll ever reach Gerrard's level either. Not to mention they play different roles.

Why don't they show the net spend in these things?

For fucks sake i hate this kind of lists.

Just take transfer fee, and add the total wage cost of the contract. We wouldnt be in the top 15 like that.

Spurs being there is misleading when they sold Modric for about 40m.
Another irritation indeed

i remember a few years ago papers headlining "spanish teams spend 300+mil on transfers". Actually, madrid and barcelona made purchases, and the rest had a marry-go-round, with near break even net spend.

total net spend was 60 mil or so.
