please, lets not start spreading the BS stories too early, everyone's health is already at risk after the past few months
Can we get Falcao too ? :weee:
Pretty sure we said similar things last year when we couldn't get Aguero. One of Higuain/Benzema or Dzeko were gonna get let go and come here this summer for cheap.
Was just being sarcastic. I think I need to bring forth the JCK dryness a bit more in my posts. :D
No, but seriously, JoJo ismt coming amd nor is Llorente. Intact I don't even thimk we should have a wish list thread anymore. Its heart wrenching to be honest. We should just consider talking about official deals when done.

Ramirez is exactly the type of transfer we should be looking at instead of wasting our time with the Aguero's of this world. I'm not a fan of 30+ m € transfers, the least we should do is getting the best talents Serie A and B offers. Ramirez was without a shadow of a doubt one of these.

Every once in a while, you need to make those 30+ million transfers, so you can play with the big boys and have a solid chance at winning the big ears trophy, or contending for it every year. Look at Bayern ;)

Poli has been "promised" to Juventus. Once we buy him, he's been "promised" to Fiorentina in the "promised deal" for JoJo :agree:

As for Falcao, I'd be willing to pay 50-55 million, and Cavani 40.

huh, funny part is that i would flip the humbers fr cavani and falcao.

falcao is much superior finisher, but i feel cavani's hyper workrate compliments vucinic's cold as ice style perfectly.

I'm not convinced by Ramirez.

I see him just a nice, tidy player rather than a real difference-maker.

Don't think Juve needed him and wouldn't have paid more than 10m for him.

I agree with your general point about focusing on picking up the best players from within Italy, though.

:weee:

I bet he is every bit as good as his namesake. :shifty:

Call me cheap bastard, but I don't think you necessarily have to make these huge investments. Not even as a top club. They guarantee nothing and bring huge risks with them I personally wouldn't like to make in most cases.

I like smart deals such as the Vidal one, where you clearly get a good player for a reasonable price. The Martinez deal Bayern pulled, for example, was cack. We have to get Falcao before he goes to Porto, Cavani before making the Napoli move etc.

I think he's a diamond in the rough. I guess time will tell.
