Ok. So Llorente for free. So...we have an entire budget to use then. On who?
well, we have to buy Immobile's 2nd half. I'd like to have Barzagli's heir ready so maybe a Benatia, Hummels, Höwedes...more youngsters...

maybe not the outcome we hoped for but no harm was done
we didn't lose anybody and we got a couple of good players maybe not in the right places but hey we will be champions again

Cheer up guys. JoJo has been promised to us next season and Llorente is coming for free. Our fortunes are looking up.
Pretty sure we said similar things last year when we couldn't get Aguero. One of Higuain/Benzema or Dzeko were gonna get let go and come here this summer for cheap.

imo we should forget about signing any top player from abroad anymore, pending special circumstances.

we need to do 2 things.

1- focus on the talent in the league: next year the club should go all out for cavani and jovetic

2- focus on developing youth. if we can't afford to play ball with the big boys, then invest in the youth system. we are signings hundreds if youth players, a couple every year or two are bound to be good enough to call up. look at barca. their 3 best players came from their youth academy

I wanted Falcao before he moved to Atletico. My no.1 this summer was Cavani. Then Falcao. Then anyone from Higuain, Llorente, Dzeko etc.

I think the idea behind Bendtner's loan was to get someone for a year (a stop gap, basically) and wait for Llorente on a free next year. Risky business....

    we won't get llorente.

there will be competition for him, and he will likelky demand higher wages for the fact that there will be no transfer fee. marotta will pass for sure.

maybe january, but i doubt we will sign him on free.

That's why I said it was risky.

If it doesn't work out, it means Marotta has to act. Which could go two ways: the way of the Cavani/Higuain/Falcao or the way of the Bendtner. In other words, he might pull his finger out and actually buy a top player or buy Bendtner permanently.

I'd like us to buy Poli next summer as a Pirlo alternative.

Out of curiosity, how much would you guys be willing to pay to sign Falcao? How Far would you be willing to go if you had cash like we know we do.
Id give 50 or 60mil for him right now i want a striker so bad and he is the best in the world imo (not including Ronaldo or Mess).
