That is onfortunately the last and the greatest hope we have to turn this transfer window from an average/disastrous one into a decent one/great one!

Isla, Asamoah, Pogba, Lucio and Giovinco. That is ANYTHING but an average/disastrous mercato.

Don't even try to make a long post out of it, because you are wrong.

As a Greek I can assure you that we whine all the time for sports, even if our team wins the championship every year! Although Italians aren't so different from us. Anyway I think that we aren't gonna land the striker that we want (Dzeko, llorente etc) and marrotta will go for the panic buy. Even thought I'll rate our Mercato 7/10 because se add depth on our squad.

CMs, we had enough options anyway, its the CF and LB we lacked the most though...sacrificing starters for depth is not wise.
Whatever you buy brings you depth, but it should not come at the expense of the starters though!
Giovinco was ours anyway, but we payed far too much to get him back, you cannot ignore that fact and simply rate the acquisition, based only on the player's quality.
Our efforts to sell were again disastrous, esp the 25 mil capital loss for Melo.

And if we keep Licht i wont rate it as disastrous, but average, selling him to get Peluso and briging a Boriello class ''finisher'' though could make it disastrous.
ATM our mercato was decent considering what the competition did and mediocre considering our needs/priorities.

It could be great if we add at least get a Llorente class finisher and dont weaken our selves by removing Licht and bringing Peluso.

Baring our attack, our team is at the levels of every top club in Europe.

If Giovinco shines and Vucinic becomes consistent then our team is one of the best.

We are playing 3-5-2 and 4-3-3, that means we need MORE CMs and not just Marchisio, Vidal and Pirlo, especially because we play CL this season as well. So yes, you are wrong on that one. Pogba is great and came for free while Asamoah has everything it takes to be one of the best midfielders around. Not to mention that he can easily fill the LW spot (read - LW, not a LB).

Selling Melo was impossible due to high wages, you should understand that nobody wanted him and we had to accept Turkish terms and get rid of his wages at least. The only mistake was to buy him in the first place for that amout.

We have by far the best mercato in Italy this year and even at this point it's very good but Llorente would make it perfect. Say whatever you want, but you are wrong.

And just so we agree, both Borriello and Peluso are shit so yes, those two would make rather weak signings. But then again, it would not ruin our mercato, because we made some great transfers. We didn't finish 7th last season, but first, so no need to put such an accent on a WC striker that we lack. Yes we missed tons of chances, but we were first. First.

And you are wrong. After such signings to say this mercato is average is rather pathetic.

What? Do you really think a midfield which consists of Marchisio, Pirlo, Vidal, Marrone, Pazienza and Padoin enough?

What? So you're saying we shouldn't buy better players than our starters?

What? Giovinco is who is now because he went to Parma.

What? Nobody in their right mind would have bought Melo for €25M.

What? We didn't sign neither Borriello nor Peluso yet, but it's sweet how selective you are with media rumors.

What? We added depth to our crucial departments, and we will sign a good attacker by the end of the market. We won't be fucked if a particular player is injured anymore.

It was anyway, but we had the opportunity to become even stronger.
Yes we needed some depth in CM department, we should get rid of Padoin, Piazenza and get a proper one.
With 3 CMs and 3 CBs, we really need a 4th n the same level.
instead of balancng ths though, we bought 2 20m mil CMs and only got a free CB.
This cancel the acquisition on Pogba, the boy left to find more playng chances, we already have 3 great starters and some talents includng Maronne, to compete, addng 2 more 20 mil acquisition is an excess!

One and free Pogba should be enough.
But where is the starter LB in this level??? We have 3 high class CMs and spend 40mil to 2 more CMs!?!

This is absurd and this is not the first time it happens, its the 7th consecutive season FFS, when will this madness ends??

In the words of Juventino_[RUS], stop trying to act like an innocent little lamb. You are the worst troll and most hated member of this forum for a reason. We all know you are just a sadisitic bastard that loves to see others in pain/suffering/upset and that's the reason why when anything bad happens or anything at the worst of times you turn up to 'prove yourself right'. No one buys your bullshit and about 5% of what you say can be taken seriously or is actually right. Get your head out of your ass and act like a normal member or fuck off.

Pogba was enough IMO, Veratti would make sense as well, regarding the future prospect.
And i stll insist that bringing back Melo to rot on the bench, will teach him, GS and many more, a lesson and also save us an extra 20mil acquisition.
I rate Asamoah, so him and Pogba would be ok, but Isla too was an excess!! Esp at the expense of starters...

And why do we need 5 WC CMs for three spots and only 2 top class CBs and Bonucci for the three CB spots??
Bonucci is not in the same class as Vidal, Marchisio and Pirlo and if anything, the investment on the depth should rather focus there.
But we only got a free one, again.

Check how many times in the past we have used most of our budget on CM subs and how many times we have invested great sums for decent CBs??
There is a pattern here, that goes beyond opportunity targets and coincidence. Stop making excuses, its the 7th consecutive season its happening!

Giovinco would be the same, if Parma did not have the option to buy his half for so low and the right to sell it back for so high...

Melo could save us the 20mil acquisition, even now and should at least net us a 2 digit number to cut loses in a respectful degree, before his contract expires, the complete loss of the 25mil capital is entirely upon Marotta's shoulders though, with his choice to loan him there and then!

We will just wait and see for that...
